Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    No Thread for this?

Big game for Arsenal, a 3rd CL loss in a row will leave them with a lot to do to qualify from the group

Lewandowski with an early run into the box to give Arsenal a scare.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Lewandowski cut through Arsenal fairly easily there.

Good to see the Bayern fans sticking to their guns and staying outside the stadium for the first 5 minutes.

Applause from the home fans when they came in

Entertaining start to the game, Neuer saving well there.

    Sanchez looking lively.

They must be even more pissed off about the ticket prices.

They're just late from the boozer.

Arsenal ticket prices relative to property prices are very reasonable- Chelsea's would be lowest

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

A better protest would have been to not buy a ticket. ;)

Arsenal need to press. Just sitting back letting them pass it around.

Bayern settling into their rhythm, if they take the lead you'd fear for Arsenal

    Bellerin got smoked there

Cazorlas distribution has been poor as have Ramsey's hoofs

    Bellerin struggling

Really is a lesson so far in possession football, teams in the continent so much more natural and technical with the ball

Bellerin being found out defendively big time.

It's hardly found out he's a young inexperienced right back still developing

Could be a long night for arsenal

30 million pound winger who is renowned for dribbling and smoking defenders, found out is a bit harsh.

It'll be equally as long for Bayern.

Bellerin ain't ready for this type of onslaught. Struggling.

He's not getting much help from Ramsey in fairness.

I'm getting a headache from listening to Hargreaves on BT.
Hard to believe the guy was a professional footballer ,he is like a kid gushing about Bayern.

I really don't think Ramsey is up to scratch here. He just does not look like he can accomplish anything at this level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

The first "Arsenal aren't used to chasing the opposition because they are usually the ones to keep possession in the Premier League" goes to the commentator on my particular broadcast.

Between Vidal's antics and Lewandowski falling over every time someone breathes on him, Bayern are fast becoming a team I hate.

Only a matter of time now.

His 6 month run covers how poor he has been for 3 years.

I know players feign injury but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that a player who goes down from a tackle is actually sore and needs a minute to get better.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

Sanchez reacts like your best player in your U8s team when he loses the ball, it's like a magnet til he gets it back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,690 ✭✭✭✭Skylinehead

Get up and keep playing or get off. No need for tackle breaks
