Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finding places to Rent close to the City

    Hi,

I am a young male working full time in the IT Industry.
I decided to post here as I am looking for accommodation in Dublin. I would like to live somewhere close to the city centre so it would be easier to get to work. The maximum rent for me is €650. I'm finding really hard to places or apartments that are available.

I'm just wondering if there is any good sites to try to find accommodation other that daft.ie or rent.ie?

    Thanks all!

As I've just said in another thread, North on the DART line. If you're working in the tech areas of D4, Raheny, Kilbarrack etc are dead handy and not too expensive if coming back from a night out in a taxi.

I'd say you'd struggle in Smithfield/Christchurch as there aren't that many multi bedroomed units. Majority are 2 bed which go for about €1400-1600 a month now so half that for one bed. Could be wrong ofc.
