    We were tennants with them over past 8 years. Renting the same property of 4 bed house. On October 3rd our lease was terminated because landlord selling house. Today is 22 of October and we still fighting with them trying to get our deposit back.
    Any advise how to push them? They coming back with variuos explanation whay we still not getting deposit (landlord transfering it at the moment, agent is on holidays, we are not bank - we not holding your depost, etc)

    Do you have a receipt for deposit and who is that with?
    Do they have offices you can go to, if so go down for the day and wreck their heads, be a hassle so it easier for them to just give to you.

    Just open a PRTB dispute against the landlord. It's not really the letting agent's fault if the landlord is the one holding the deposit.

    Open a PRTB dispute, I remember a landlord trying to tell a friend once that he didn't have to return the deposit after five years. And this was by email!
