Generic Dreadhead

I feel like I wasn't getting kill from magnetic grenades last night even when I stuck people. Maybe it was lag or something. It was like the 1st explosion did damage but not the 2nd. I dunno. Cr@p grenades anyway

HCs still have the highest skill ceiling. The ghost bullets are ridiculous though, should be no rng in competitive PvP.

The two teams look horribly unbalanced but 6 vs 6 and some very good players should be a fun watch.

also - speaking of Handcannons - still searching for my god roll eyasluna.... Want Rangefinder, Rifled Barrel, Icarus.

Rifled Barrel and Icarus are the two I want - Range Finder would just be icing on the cake.

Great post, really well written and hits the nail on the head for so many points.
Most of the issues with weapons in Destiny are so nebulous, or hard to describe, that people just jump to "that gun sucks", without really understanding why it sucks.

Pwadigy makes some great point though:
The problem is not just hand cannons - you can't nerf hand cannons and fix the underlying engagement problems.
Right now there seems to be very little mid range action - leading to snipers hard scoping and shot gunners camping.
The perception I, and others have, is Bungie is nerfing primary weapons in order to better dictate these ranges - but it's only leading to more people relying on snipers / shotguns.

People in sweats normally use either TLW or Thorn. Which both benefit from other factors and perks.

The reason legendary hand cannons are in such a bad state now, is because Bungie blankly nerfed all H.C.'s to deal with TLW and Thorn, rather than specifically tuning them individually.

I mean i like outlaw, but I have "Faster Sidearm Reload" on my gauntlets

I would absolutely no issue equipping/uneqquiping my Sidearm for the extra damage buff as it would suit how I do my encounters. Basically waiting till I'm outside shotgun range and throwing myself, my body and weapon at onrushing foes

Assuming they are handed Bungie accounts with RoI weaponry, and on new maps, they should be out of their comfort zones, so it could even things out a bit.

Anyone know what the deal is with the grainy effect on Destiny since the update ? Its really bad :eek:

Didn't really notice any change in graphics but had to wade through about 3 pages of complaints in the chat when Generic found a little dot by his cursor.

It's a bug.
They are adding "Filters" to the gamer in ROI (think Sepia)
I think this is an uninteniontal affect from that

Hey that line gave me a mild heart attack one night, i though my tv was ****ed and had a few drinkies on me and I nearly threw the remote at the tv until I seen the dam line move to the other side of the screen.
