What was the NF like and what light level were you? I have been messing round with all three characters not power levelling so I'm only 339-343.

Finished the story last night. The final boss battle twist was nicely done.

But before that Saladin says that the Lords of Iron were touched by the Travellers light and they didn't even realise they could be killed.

So the Lords of Iron were proto Guardians without ghosts?

Well the other Iron Lords are shown falling to SIVA in the first cutscene. Ye hardly skipped that?

Thought this guide on Eurogamer on levelling up to 385 in PvP might come in handy.

Activities that drop loot up to 340 Light:
Normal difficulty Strikes
Decryping Rare (blue) Engrams

Vendors that sell loot up to 350 Light:
Xur's Exotics
Items purchased with Legendary Marks

Activities that drop loot up to 365 Light:
Heroic difficulty Strikes
Challenge of the Elders scorecard completions
Legendary Engrams

Activities that drop loot up to 385 Light:
Unique Strike rewards
Decryping Exotic Engrams
Faction reward packages
Watch of the Machine on normal difficulty
Archon's Forge
In terms of the activities that will give you higher Light level loot the fastest, the Raid remains the best way to go, (with the added bonus of being able to use Three of Coins during every boss battle) so do that as soon as it's available.

Until then, remember these thresholds for each end-game activity:

Recommended Light Level activities in Destiny: Rise of Iron:
SIVA Crisis Heroic Strike playlist - Light level 350
Daily Heroic Story - Light level 350
Weekly Heroic Strike - Light level 350
Weekly Nightfall Strike - Light level 360
Wrath of the Machines Raid - Light level 360

You can do it on the normal heroic now, same with Black Spindle.

I'd love to see ye're run. Ten turty raid didn't pass Vosik. How did ye find the raid overall? Thoughts?

Fast moving and fun for the most part. The last boss was not possible due to low light, for us. A more talented group may be able to evade move and kill better. Mechanically it was quick enough to work out. Don't think we have the plan for the final boss though, got his shield down but no damage - there must be a stun mechanic we didn't get cause he shielded up very quickly.

Was a good laugh going in blind and working through mechanics as we died.

Also, I can see why they nerfed Touch of Malice.

Reached rank 25 on Dead Orbit and got Exotic quest. Switch to FWC and noticed I was nearly ranked 26 so I used motes but didn't get quest. Bit of a pain if you have complete one before moving on.

Waiting on my old fireteam to get back into the game so I can raid. Haven't even done VoG as I stopped playing cause we could never schedule it.

I just got New Monarchy to rank 25 last night. First faction I've got the exotic class quest for

Anyone know if you still need to have the shader, emblem etc equipped when doing the quest? I know that used to be the case and skipped past the description screen when accepting the quest.

Yep you still need them fitted, started my third Hunter one last night. An easy way to get a heap of it done is to do the new quests with that gear fitted
