Nightfall: The Undying Mind

Modifiers
Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Specialist - Special Weapon damage is favored.
Fresh Troops - Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements.
Match Game - Enemy shields are resistant to all unmatched Elemental Damage.
Airborne - Players deal more damage while in the air.

Heroic Strike Playlist

Modifiers
Heroic - Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive.
Solar Burn - Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
Small Arms - Primary Weapon damage is favored.
Chaff - Player radar is disabled.

Next week, make sure that the Nightfall is one of the Last things you do, don't be doing it right after the reset.

It's speculated that the NF is one of the few activities that actually drops top-tier LL items (so up to 400LL)

So lets say you start next week at 379, you do the NF and get a 382 drop. Not bad, but you can get 382 stuff from plenty other activities.

But if you end up finishing the week at 385 and THEN do the NF, you might get a ~389 drop which will be more helpful for the Raid Hard Mode dropping Tuesday week

I am guessing that people already do this but just in case...infusion can allow you to 'share' high level gear.
Say you have a hunter artifact that is 4 LL above your other characters max artifact LL, infuse that into your other characters when doing the NF (or other activities) to help bump up their overall LL. You can infuse the other characters artifact back into your hunter once done.

Bear in mind that you will be losing the items when infusing - so only infuse items you are happy to do without.

It's what I've done. I now have 3 chars NM Raid capable, so hopefully manage to get 3 runs done this week. It'll be a while before I get HM ready on even 1.

Can't you just use an iron lord artefact and infuse into that so you can pass it between each character without wasting mats? You just need to attune it each time I think?

Aren't different items weighted differently for LL? Don't think you'd get much of a bump for infusing an artefact. When did y'all co crazy for LL? The hard raid has you all driven mad.

Yep - I haven't used a 'normal' artifact since RoI hit. Don't see the point. I'm going to want one of the perks off the new ones. It does cause issues with your Int/Dis/Str build, but i've given up on the tier 12 idea - the perks of the armor is the priority for me now. I still do look to have at least 4 on Int and Dis - but i'm far more interested in the perks available to me rather than having a grenade a couple of seconds earlier.

Yes, 3x Weapons = 12% (36% total)
4x Armour = 10% (40% total)
Class Item, Artifact, Ghost = 85 (24% total)

100% this, unlike other Artifacts, Iron Lord ones can be used by any class.
Skorri is handy for PvE and Ghaleon is hand for PvP (imho), get both them as high as you can and you're laughing

Got thorn quest last night - need to do that. Need to start the OP quest, think 2 parts of the first step are done. Got an old mark last night from faction rank up - need to start the faction exotic quest. Along with the usual raid, Coe, CoO, Shaxx/Petra/shiro bounties - there's enough to be doing. I dunno how ye run 3 characters

My internet died yesterday. I am pretty sure its the router that has given up the ghost. Have someone into look at it for Thursday morning.

Bad time, with Gears and PSVR both our this week as well. No Destiny for me either.

Could try and use my phone as a WIFI hotspot. Worked ok with my laptop.

Check with your network provider I know 3 charge a fortune for tethering charges.


There's threads on boards about it, could cost hundreds so be careful.

Three don't charge for tethering, they charge for out of bundle data. If you are on pay as you go then you are fine.

I've tethered with Vodafone, make sure you have plenty of data allowance as destiny uses around 1GB an hour.

I usually play everything on the titan and as soon as he hit 385 would send all the left over stuff to the other characters.
I'd mainly use the alts for running raids/Iron Banner just for gear collecting. Once I collected all 8 iron artifacts I stopped aswell running those quests on the alts, and just stockpile a couple of the iron medals so I can pick up the artifact I want in the roll I want.
Other stuff like Coe/petra/shaxx at this stage is mainly limited to main character aswell. It almost be a full time job trying to keep 3 characters doing every bounty in a week.

Just had a look there, and I'm on more completions on WotM NM than VoG and KF NM. I remember KF completions being the biggest nuisance to most to begin with.

I still never figured out what happened with the last Arg... Only my Titan got the space fleas and I haven't used her since RoI dropped.
