If they don't there's obviously a reason, Nintendo are fairly fond of an aul cease and desist!
Probably can't stop someone selling printed paper or something

I guess artwork, logo etc perhaps would be their legal standing but I guess they find it small fish to go after.

Would the copywrite on the chip be expired? Anyway if Nintendo aren't selling any new snes consoles or games then they don't have a reason to take action.
