Am I busted

So I was scootering home through Dublin today and as I was coming to a traffic light I saw a guy on a bicycle looking at me, as he passed me I heard him talking and he said the last 3 numbers of my bike. I didnt know my reg number till i got home and checked, anyway he had a little white camera on the back of bike and assume he had 1 on the front, He was not a Guard, on duty anyway. Whats the story?

Did you do something before he took your reg? Why was he doing it in the first place?

In any case these people usually just put it up on Youtube as an example of bad driving. Not saying you were or anything, just saying thats what they do.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just some evangelist cyclist with a chip on their shoulder over minor things. The Gardai see us in bus lanes a lot and it doesn't seem to be an issue so I doubt it would be if they were presented with some video. If they were bothered about the offence they could easily ask Dublin Bus for their camera footage and send out fines to all of us for being in the bus lanes.

Loosers of the highest order. Probably saying your reg out loud to try and geta reaction from you which is what those sad people do. Most likely for his youtube as another poster said. Unless it's an accident or driving dangerously the Gaurds won't give a feck.

And usually if you watch their videos they put themselves into dangerous situations for better videos, while technically they have, right of way to be in the position there's a good chance that they'll be DEAD right. Morons with no road sense

Step 3: get a sharpie and write your reg on his forehead.
Step 4: tell him to learn your reg and remember to never film you again.

Most important step is to use his camera to film all these steps. Then upload to you tube and you will be rich and famous!!

Wouldn't worry about being in the bus lane, I've passed guards and been passed by guards while in the bus lanes and never had an issue. Don't let some loser with a camera deter you.

However, If you were in the cycle lane you should avoid this and give bikes right of way.

I would not worry.. As others have said its just a bellend on a bike looking for youtube hits to sell adverts to get his next gopro..

Try sticking in the location on youtube to see if the twat has posted it.


Also. Ive never been pulled in a bus lane. Don't act the maggot and you will be fine. Apparently the Garda have not seen any motorbikes going through College Green either so its not a problem.
