Christmas in Buenos Aires...advice?

    Hey guys,

    Backpacking in South America at the mo and planning on being in Buenos Aires for Christmas.Only problem is that the hostels are crazy expensive for those nights so we´re not sure they´re worth it. Does anybody have experience of being in Buenos Aires for Christmas? I would like the atmosphere of a hostel but was also thinking of maybe an airbnb or hotel for the holidays. Any advice appreciated as things are getting booked up pretty quickly!!

    So we booked an apartment in the end so at least we have accommodation sorted. Have a pool too �� Now we need to decide what to do on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Does anybody have some good recommendations for things to do and places to eat around Christmas.
