Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Nobody panic, Opie's fine :pac:
    (for now... )

A good friend of mine has run into a serious pickle with her dog and toddler. He (the toddler) is severely allergic to the dog and has been from the word go. It appears to be both saliva and dander/hair. The dog is a very much-loved family pet and she's 4.5 years old. Parents and older kids are absolutely devastated but they're being left with no option but to look at rehoming. They've tried family members and friends but no-one "in the family" can take her and she really wants to make sure she goes to a stellar home.
This isn't a case of dog leaves for baby. The little one has asthma and is constantly coughing and wheezing and has had to go on a nebulizer after some reactions, and he's covered in hives almost daily even with extreme management. She's even tried integrating the poor dog to outdoor living in the hopes that her toddler would grow out of the allergy when older but she nearly had a heart attack being away from everyone :(

Basically I'm looking for PM recommendations for rescues in and around the Dublin area that would be willing to work with her for a proper home that has preferably been checked out first where she can hopefully at least get updates and such..
