Ask AH. Bit like throwing yourself under a bus.

I've moved it to the Dublin Country South forum, should get more helpful responses here :)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

If you have any interest in current affairs, it is a great time to join a political party - they would love to have new members, and you'll meet loads of people with similar values during the election campaign.

Are you a member of a gym?
I've met a few friends through the gym. Or why not see if any clubs are looking for new footie players?

Or you could go for a pint and you might meet someone..The Dragon Inn is a great spot for meeting characters.
Sorry I've no more advice; I don't know what else to suggest!
