It's not what Rooney is doing, more what he's not doing. The lack of movement is pathetic, he's making Otamendi and Kompany look like world beaters by standing beside them all half.

Looks likley. City cant handle him at all while on the other hand Rojo is all over De Bruyne and Valancia doing well against Stirling. Two of the areas where i thought we might struggle..

As a United fan im happy with the first half.. we look solid and were the better side... just need to create more chances..

Very niggly and poor game of football. I wouldn't say anyone's been awful. Maybe kdb and Jones have been a little off.

Rooney is trying and isn't too bad but still a shadow of what he was

I think at this stage with Valencia he's so frustrating when he's attacking. He gets in great positions but does nothing with it.
