Dying with the flu at the moment and can't seem to remember anything and the study is hardly working at the moment.

Imagine being sick on the week leading up to the exams or on the day of the orals.

It's scary. Just realising how important it is to avoid being sick :o still trying to study but nothing is sinking in.

Go easy on yourself until you're feeling better Arnie, plenty of sleep and keep hydrated, you know yourself that any study you attempt these few days will be wasted so focus on feeling better, then you can go at it again all guns blazing!
A lot of Leaving Cert students take a multivitamin in the hope of boosting their immune system for the exams, maybe something you could consider, for peace of mind if nothing else :)

Exercise would be great also. I'm not a great believer in multi vits. Seen too many study suggesting most of the extra vitamins just go into the toilet. Going for a quick walk everyday plus drinking loads of water is always a great idea

Stop studying. Taking two or three days off now will not make a difference in June. You are stressing yourself out and putting pressure on your body to perform when it is not able.

Take a couple of days off, get some extra hours of sleep. Have a few warm drinks, eat properly, go for a snooze on the couch in the afternoon. Do stuff that is not taxing like watching a DVD. When you have recovered you can go back to studying. Continuing to try and study when you can't is a waste of time, and you are not giving your body the time it needs to rest and shake off the illness.
