I made the mistake of sticking with it :(. Should have watched the Saints Vs Giants instead.

Poor loss there for the Falcons, could cost them come the end of the season.

Just saw how Fitzpatrick picked up his thumb injury. So dumb. Get out of bounds or slide.

Happened Dallas v the Broncos last year or the year before if I remember right

Fraudulent team. Have piggybacked a piss easy schedule to a 6-2 record. Guaranteed the Saints will steal the division from them.

Jets D getting craved up right now, so many missed tackles

good god cromartie is such a liability

Jets game looks to be over already. Geno will need to get them to 30pts to have any chance; not sure that'll happen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,638 ✭✭✭phatkev

    welp

Should be a close finish between those two teams and Carolina anyway

Oh yeah, forgot about them :o

What the hell just happened in the Dallas game where they weren't allowed call a time out? Commentators don't seem to have a clue anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,777 ✭✭✭raze_them_all_

as per usual refs digging seattle out of a bloody hole. Raiders smashin jets also

Seattle called a time out, sent out 12 men tried to call another which they can't. Should of been called for 12 men but it being seattle they get the decision and cowboys just have to rekick

God help any AFC team if they make the SB again. Because Rog the dodge & his crew, will do his best to get them the win.

Don't like to see this. Hasn't budged.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,523 ✭✭✭tinpib

Very heavy hit. The camera angle of the replay doesn't give you the full contact. If you had a replay form 90 degrees either side you would see it.

He came to a very, very sudden stop.

Probably not an issue. Packers have this side of things wrapped up.

Just had a look at their schedule and it looks that way alright.

Just had a look at their schedule and it looks that way alright.

Wouldn't be too sure, especially with the offensive not looking quite the same without perhaps the most underrated WR in the league. We still have to travel to Denver tonight, Carolina next week, and Arizona later in the season. We play the Cowboys who could be much improved with Dez & Romo back, and have to play the Lions and Vikings twice - who we should go at least 3-1 against but you never know (if the Lions fire Caldwell sooner rather than later and find some rhythm). Travelling to Oakland we certainly should win, but also looks much scarier than it did at the start of the season.

What was the weekly 'Seattle call' this time, by the way? New room mates moving in today so I haven't been able to watch much unfortunately, been busy making sure everything is out of the way by 8:30.

NFL really need to spread the Sunday games out more. Only two 4pm games sucks. Sure splitting the 1pm and 4pm games 50/50 makes a lot more sense.

I was checking it on my phone on the way back around half time, was actually sure there was an error on the mobile site. It's ridiculous, makes me think if they are planning ...something... in terms of schedule changes in the next 3 years or so because it makes no sense doing it like this for no reason.

What sort of changes could they be planning?

Don't know, maybe earlier games or stretching out to a Saturday game or two. Or expanding on MNF/TNF by adding in Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Basically kind of trying to preempt the 'Sundays are not as good anymore' complaints a move like that would bring.

Not saying they are mind you, but I just can't think of any other logic for their need to punish RedZone viewers so far this season. :p

Time for a sprinkling of Fitzmagic....

    No?
    Geno is back in again.

    Jets be banged up, yo.

Holy ****, Sherman called for a hold?! Must be some mistake! Certainly Pete Carroll was under the impression that just doesn't happen.

Billy their big call this week was they called a TO, had an extra man on the field after it and tried to call another. For reasons best known to whoever decided they are the team who should win all the time, they didn't concede a penalty of any kind. Cue gormless, stupid looks on the faces of gormless, stupid refs.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Gotta laugh at the sheer disbelief from Sherman/Carroll that the rules actually do (somewhat) apply to them. :D

I'm guessing they get a TD here, though. Or the win, either way.

The slow motion of Carroll shouting, I presume he was saying "WHAT'S 'HOLDING'?"

The refs doing all they can to make up for having the gall to call Seattle on a hold earlier. Still had to laugh as it happened, though. :pac:

    Referee discussion

    "clearly an incomplete pass"

    "yeah but it's the seahawks"

    *confirms TD*
