Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

FFS no faith in Gibbs at all.
I now he scored the last day but he's just not good enough for Arsenal.
    Can't see lightening striking twice.

I dunno....if he can get a few balls into the box for Giroud, I'll be happy enough. He can't be any worse than having Campbell on the right (not a fan, sorry).

Here is hoping for a good result, but I wonder how well Arsenal will press the game if they go one up as I think the Euro-Championship match on this week?

Campbell is far more gutsy than Gibbs though. You wouldn't see him ducking out of the way of the ball like Gibbs did. Plus he's only had a handful of games.

Hate to say it, but agree with this about Gibbs.

Hope he proves me wrong, but I just associate him with us getting beat.

Would bite your hand off for a piss poor 0-1 snorefest.

There are two certainties in life; death and Ozil assists.

That hold up and release from Giroud there was excellent

To quote the late Brian Clough (and Sultans of ping fc)

'Give him a ball and a yard of grass'

    :D

Beautiful delivery from Ozil, right on a plate for Giroud!! West Brom are very indisiplined!! Throwing in silly tackles, another one there on Giroud, Clattenburg needs to show a yellow soon

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,828 ✭✭✭gosplan

Not the best at lip-reading but pretty sure Giroud pointed to the sky and said

    'pour toi, l'efb'

    1-1
    ****!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

    That's been coming.

    Soft!

The ball was already in before Arteta looked at the ball. Amateur stuff.

Arteta probably didn't even know the ball was kicked because he was facing the opposite way.

Doesn't look like this will end well.
    We are playing poorly.

    Hmmm.....not ideal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,473 ✭✭✭Roddy23

Ah arteta and bellerin are both having a nightmare. Coquelin injury hopefully won't be the injury that broke the camels back.

And now we're losing. Arteta the clumsy fool.

We buckle under the pressure again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

Arteta has been a liability since he came on. We will regret not signing a DM.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,238 ✭✭✭Ardennes1944

Wait, I should have saved that last one.....WHAT the **** kind of goal was THAT to let in.

    2 - 1 West Brom

We just dont have strength in depth to deal with injuries.

Well we do but their injured too.

Cazorla, Arteta and Gibbs are anonymous except for Arteta giving goals away.
Would have Campbell over Gibbs all day long. Gibbs offers nothing.

Campbell is just waaaayy too slow. Having Cazorla, Mert, Arteta and Campbell on the pitch at the same time would be painful.

Nice little run into the box there from Gibbs.

Yeah good work from Gibbs there

    And then what? Nothing.

He was involved in a nice little one-two with Giroud earlier also. He's got into more dangerous positions than most of our attackers.

We are playing rubbish but if Arteta wasnt out there, we would still be 1 up.
