Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He was involved in a nice little one-two with Giroud earlier also. He's got into more dangerous positions than most of our attackers.

He's too light and fearful for me.
After so many years at the club he should be a leader now, not a bit player.

Bellerin having a mare at fault for both goals

A poor first half followed by a better second half has summed up a few of our games this season.

    Here's hoping.

    Can't see it today.
We are carrying too many today especially with Coq gone.

Arteta was finished last year. Madness to go into the season with him.

Yep, his calf is a chronic problem at this stage. Put him out to pasture.

How we are playing today is nothing to do with pressure of being at the top of the league.

Two defenders stood off Rondon and let him shoot FFS.

So it's just another "one of those days" which coincidentally is happening when we have a good chance to move clear at top.

Arsenal has those days no matter where in the league they are? Today isn't a poor team performance, it's individual errors, notably by Arteta.

Granted, collectively their not all at fault, but there is definitely another gear to be stepped up out there.

Even though he's not been at the top of his game this season Ramsey is badly missed when he's out.

    Bad miss from Alexis now.

    Typical Arsenal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

It so frustrating, we've found ourselves in a rut, the 5-1 hammering has a lot to do with it as has the injuries.

Surely Arsene is regretting not improving the squad with outfield options and sticking with Arteta and Rosicky knowing they weren't going to stay fit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

    Busy thread ahead............

    My God I hate Pulis.

Arteta is done as a reliable replacement. Shot us right in the foot today. Sooner we get Coquelin back the better. Need him back in the side before City match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Another sorry mess but we're used to them now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

    We badly need Ramsey back.

Our bench is **** too with the players out I think the next 4/5 games are going to be tough viewing

Injuries and games like this are why I want us to take the cups (And the Europa League if we end up in it) seriously as it presents us with our best chance of silverware.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Myhill booked for timewasting in the 91st minute and he still only played the exact 4 minutes. That's a bit shít isn't it?

Anyways, we decent today, but we lacked the quality to finish when it mattered and Arteta singlehandedly made sure we lost this one.

One man lost it for us, but eleven men failed to win it for us also.

Feck the cups. I want the league.

Wengers downfall is his loyalty to players that offer very little to the club.

That and lack of investment when it's clearly needed.

It has its ups and downs. Arteta's not good enough, but a more ruthless manager would have binned Coquelin years ago.

**** game anyway. Pulis teams away are never good for us, but you'd think after going ahead they'd have enough in them to at least get a point...

He is gonna have to buy a DM in Jan now
And he will have to pay over the odds to get him

As an aside per and Campbell are stone useless
