Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't blame Shad when Wenger is over playing people. If anything Shads done a great job! We've had plenty of players come back earlier than predicted.

If that is what's really happening it makes you wonder why Shad is hanging around and getting his reputation destroyed in the process. Surely he'd rather be somewhere where he was listened to and where his advice was taken on board.

Rugby players get rested far far more often than footballers, they also will never play a midweek game.

At this stage you'd imagine they'd all leave! If Wenger is apparently so incompetent at it all. :)

According to the Guardian they've confirmed Santi has injured his knee ligament.

No news on how long he'll be out but you'd imagine it'll be 2+ months.

    Some good news!
Walcott is back in full training and might be available for Sunday.

Think we need to get in outside medical experts and do an independent review

    Same **** different season.

    Ramsey into Santis spot?

Guess we will see jack deeper and Ramsey beside him soon enough

Jacks not due back until January at least. December is gonna be a nightmare

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,756 ✭✭✭emergingstar

    My team for Sunday

    Cech

    Bellerin. Mert. Kos. Monreal

    Flamini Ramesy

    Walcott. Ozil. Ox.

    Giroud

I think we might see chambers in the middle though, don't no why though

He's not able to run anymore. Was good in his time but past it now.

Can't see Walcott starting. Be lucky if he's on the bench

Be great if he's ready for Olympiacos

    Fully agree

Just think we need a passer beside a runner/workhorse

These injuries are depressing, we really need a fully fit squad going over to Greece. I will be dreading the Europa league if we finish third

If he has any sense, if we dont get the result in Greece then the Carling cup team should be played for the Europa league whatever the outcome and id even sacrifice the cup to go all out in the league if it came to it. Of course logic will go completely out the window and the likes of Ozil and Sanchez will end up being risked of a Thursday night needlessly.

He also takes 3 to 4 games to get back to form when returning from injury. Its beginning to look like he can't stay fit for 3 games so it's not very promising!

Italian press going mental over Higuain the past few days. 14 goals in 17 games this season, Napoli top of the league...

    Ah, what could've been. :(

Pulled out of that deal over a measley few million. 47 goals in 83 apps for Napoli.

I would agree if we are still in with a realistic chance of the league when it returns but if we have dropped off the pace I would love to win the Europa League.

If we had gotten Higuain that summer it would have been extremely unlikely we would have gotten Mesut. Altho we are lacking another striker i know which player i would rather have

Bit of revisionism going on there. It was more that Real Madrid kept changing the deal and then Suarez said that he was available

Makes no difference anyway. The poor guy would probably have only one leg at this stage if he had joined us.

With all these injuries the ox have some chance to make his breakthrough

If he don't you would have to worry about him

If only he wasn't prone to injury too.

I wonder will we see the Ox in the middle with Ramsey out right. Thinking being that Bellerin's game has suffered since Ramsey has been out, they were dovetailing nicely there for the first 10 games or so.

Any word on Santi yet? His looked like a bang to the knee, which ordinarily heals quickly, as opposed to ligament damage! Although, this being Arsenal, he probably picked up a concussion and a temporary paralysis too!!!

I see Theo's return is not the 5th, but the 13th now! FFS

Heading over for the match this Saturday and cant wait. 2nd time bringing my young fella.

I'm usually a bad omen - last game I travelled for was Monaco home :-(

Really REALLY hope we don't drop points to Sam.

This is a long shot, but if anyone has spare tickets for the Newcastle game on 2nd Jan can you PM me please?

    I think so.
Cazorla stayed on the pitch despite suffering the injury in the first minute of the second half, although he was struggling to run and only stayed on because Wenger had used his three substitutes. “The worrying thing was that it got worse,” Wenger said after the game.

Expect the ole .......... will be back by January.
And then the old mysterious relapse when the window closes.

OR the old " there is nobody suitable available" excuse.
