    Hello I am in the final year of a BA in History and Anthropology. I am interested in doing the following postgraduate courses next year:

    Ma Irish History- Maynooth University
    Ma Military History- Maynooth University
    Ma History- NUI Galway
    Ma History- UCD
    Mphil Early Modern History- Trinity College
    Msc Historical Studies- University of Stratchclyde

    I would appreciate it if anyone would have any input or experience regarding these courses as it is tough to choose! Thanks

    I only have secondhand experience of Trinity's Early Modern course through friends who took it. They all really liked it: it's usually a small group so everyone knows each other and is friendly, and there's a decent selection of modules etc.

    Do you have any idea of a particular area you'd like to specialise in yet? Identifying academics who work in that area in the different universities might help you narrow your choices a bit.
