Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi everyone,

Sounds like my Wouxun UVD1P is very ill right now. Switched it on last night attached to an external antenna. Very little or no RX on VHF or UHF.

I waited for the coast guard weather forecast on Ch 83 and as you'll hear from the video, very poor, distorted with feedback RX.

I tried a CPU reset but no luck. Any ideas or can I just use it as a paperweight?

    thanks

(Yes, I know it's a cheap radio and has served me well for close on 5 years so constructive comments please)

Have you ruled out an antenna fault?

Same results on an external and the rubber duck

Hasn't been dropped or exposed to moisture or any other liquid
