As disappointed as I am, I'm happy for Boro. United's performance didn't warrant progression. Bar the final 10 minutes of normal time, I never felt like there was a realistic possibility of them scoring. Very little urgency to the play, spent most of the game just strolling around the place. The horror-show that was that penalty shoot-out just capped it off really.

So fair play to Boro, they played very well and deserve the win IMO.

He has been absolutely putrid, like far and away consistently our worst player all season.

One can only hope that LVG will develop the balls to drop him.

He did it with DiMaria last year so its mind boggling whats going on.

I said it in the United thread before, if LVG persists with him then it will ultimately cost United dearly and I think LVG his job.
