Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cue shot of Sturridge, should be too embarrassed to be seen.

Koala Toure going off with a porkchop injury, great. Hope Skrtel doesn't get injured tonight. He has played a lot .

Firmino is like the invisible man out there.

It's for the deaf viewers, easiest way for Sky to explain injury is to show a picture of Sturridge.

    That nutmeg from Firmino

I despair for football when good challenges like that from Branagan are given as fouls.

Did well for the goal. Also had a shot tipped over and another effort just there. Hasn't been on the ball much but has shown some quality with the ball he's had it.

    Firmino's been good so far.

Jesus we need our strikers fit and playing asap. Origi looks like a pub player out there again tonight.

Corgi comes deep and in doing so it no threat to a defense. He has no movement and makes no runs in behind. Of course I think maybe it's up to someone to tell him to start doing that.

Origi gets the ball and just stalls until he loses it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Now that's what I call gegenpressing

Very surprised at the lack of boo's for Distin.

Not a fan of booing or anything but I would have expected it

Most former toffees don't generally get that treatment. Former utd players are far more likely to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Those celebrations :D.

It's as if he scored every goal himself.

good to see Firmino & Ibe playing well.

That's good. I didn't think it'd be hatred, more jeering. But glad it's not happening, chap has always been a pro

Allen is such a crappy player these days, no thrust as all from his passing. Firmino, Teixeria and Ibe all willing but they are being isolated by the midfield

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,882 ✭✭✭✭klose

Firmino ibe and tex playing well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,954 ✭✭✭garra

This team starts v Chelsea. Bogdan with 2 good saves, Ibe has re-invented himself and Teix is taking a kicking but the crowd are letting the ref off the hook. Worst fans in the world. Ehhh :o

Might even prefer those to Rafa's sly "I'm better than you, Arsene" ones.
