Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The phone does seem to lag a little when fast scrolling alright, but video plays OK in Chrome for me.

I updated just a few mins ago..green screen when watching videos on Chrome..but to me honest I don't use Chrome for watching many vids, still its poor form though from Oneplus.. Haven't used it enough yet to say if I notice any lag

Just realised that I have the green video issue, tried the video on the first page of this thread, sound OK but green video. I had tried videos on the Irish indo page and they work OK.

Trying to buy this from the IE store using Irish biling address and same shipping address, phone says in stock.

"It looks like you are on the wrong store. Please select your country store by clicking the flag in the footer and selecting your country."

    Any ideas?

Thanks but thats where I was, tried it again, same thing.

I think it might be where I'm working actually, I'm guessing they use a U.S. VPN.

    Will try at home.

As in you're hoping it would be delivered to work before you leave the company?

If yes, then I reckon so!

Hotfix patch for 2.1.3 will start rollout tonight
We have expedited a hotfix patch (2.1.3-x) for some of the common issues reported after our 2.1.3 OTA last week. This patch includes fixes for:

    YouTube playback issues in Chrome
Keyboard lag experienced especially in Chrome
Lag experienced while scrolling in Chrome

The OTA will start incremental rollout tonight. We hope this remedies the inconvenience some of you have been experiencing since the last OTA.

I didn't wait for the OTA, downloaded the .zip and ran it. It fixed the SD card issue certainly.

Edit: Ah, I see you were talking about the hotfix to be applied to 2.1.3. I don't use Chrome, so hadn't run into any issues with it.

If I download the zip, reboot into twrp and sideload will it erase my apps and settings?

Lads did Customs hold any of yours?

Just got a text from DHL telling me its at Customs and Excise and they are looking for an EORI number, proof of payment etc.

Have no idea what an EORI number is

Nope, I got 2 with no hassle.

The Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) scheme was introduced on 1st July 2009 (replacing the Trader Unique Reference Number system previously used in the UK) and it’s basically a method for tracking imports and exports within the EU.
An EORI number is assigned to an individual legal identity (i.e. sole trader, partnership, company or individual) by your local member state (so if you’re in the UK – by HMRC) and that EORI number is then used to identify you and your shipments across all EU countries.
And really it’s as simple as that – it is just a number given to importers and exporters throughout Europe that can be easily and consistently identified by customs.

Has anyone been able to get their Facebook contacts to sync with the contacts on the one plus x?

Typically when I selected Facebook in Accounts through settings (on the actual phone) I could sync contacts, calendar etc

since getting my oneplusx, cant for the life of me find a menu or option to Sync contacts. I want ideally to get Facebook profile pics, in for my contacts.

Anyone got this working? Another guy in the office with the phone also has this problem.

I believe that there is an issue with oneplus shipping from HongKong with DHL where they cannot display that the customs has been paid.

Hopefully the refund will be straightforward.

Got the 24 hr invite lads... and 'claimed it'. But did not buy the phone there and then.

Logged back in some time later and went to buy with invite but it is saying invite has been used. Assume many have seen this before?, know how to rescue it/use it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 715 ✭✭✭ianob7

@Leslie91 iirc once you "claim" it you have 72 hours to purchase. Hope this helps
