Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone had as big a career meltdown in the last two years as Falcao?

Poor from Chelsea , hard to argue pool didn't deserve to win that.

They're going to be playing that interview for years. Up there with Kevin Keegan's 'I'd love it!' rant.

So what if Liverpool should have had a player sent off?

    11 v 11 Chelsea weren't good enough.

Amazing that the only people who ever say that are fans of other teams....

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

He did say after that because the ref was looking directly at the incident and did nothing, that the FA might not take any action. The usually only take action in the case of "off the ball" incidents

What was the guy at asking if it was you that did what the opposition manager did would you be punished? What did Klopp do apart from his goal celebrations

How can Mourinho seriously expect Chelsea fans to be happy with him just blaming the officials. It's getting really stupid now.

When asked about decisions he says he'll get in trouble if he speaks.

When anything else he just repeats the question back to the journalist.

What I don't get is people saying its the players you can blame Jose if their not performing.

Whats the point in having a manager at all so?

I'd say even Keegan is embarrassed for him at this stage.

He looks a broken man. Don't see how he turns this around or after an interview like that, how the players would think he can.

Surprised by Rio Ferdinand's analysis. Seems totally on the ball and with a good eye for what's going on.

Rio is fairly well clued in imo - heard him a few times now and I've been impressed with his insight and analysis.

He was a very intelligent defender in fairness so he should know his football now.

Think if he was going/gone it would be all over the place as it would have been done the Chelsea way....in the tunnel at the final whistle.

Goal before half time was absolutely massive, Pool looked completely impotent up to that and Chelsea were happy to sit back, they should have pressed on after getting such a great start and it bit them in the ass. Delighted for Chelsea though it must be said

Just watched it on MOTD, Mourinho is such a spoilt child, they were beat by a better team.

If like he said his players gave up when Lucas didn't get a second yellow then that's his poor management

For a man that has one so much he has no class or respect when he is on the receiving end

He's been pathetic this season. He was the same after the Southampton match. If he's like that after one match, fine. Managers can be like that. But after every defeat?? It's becoming silly. He's an absolute parody at this stage. A caricature.

Jose has no respect for the opposition, the officials and I think at this stage many of the players he has or signs.

It explains the weird signings of people like Luis and Cudrado and letting go of players like Mata so quickly. He just takes a look and decides 'no', they're not up to it. At this point he must be feeling the same about a lot of his own players.

As regards his bitterness and being simply an awful loser, it comes down to respect again.

Anyone see Stephen Moore after the World Cup final yesterday. Offered the chance to talk about bad luck and injuries.

Simply said 'can't talk about that, it's a World Cup final and we were beaten by a better team'. Awesome response.

Tomas O Se does losing even better. Lost with the last kick of the game - goes and retrieves the match ball and runs the length of the pitch to give it to Cluxton.

My point is that all you'll hear from Mourinho apologists is 'show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser'. But that's bull. You can be ridiculously competitive and still be respectful in loss.

The truth is that it's really really easy to be gracious in victory. The flip side though is a true test if character and Jose doesn't have it.

He's not the kind of man that people get behind. The promise of trophies motivated footballers because he's an excellent manager but with those gone for the year, how's he going to motivate now.
