Another big game and again Mikel gets a start, how often has that been the case in the last 10 years and how often has it been painstakingly disappointing? How does nobody learn from this, it's been 10 years!
And there's Ramires too. All I can say is that this is a typical big match Mourinho team selection.

Different circumstances benteke wasn't fit enough to start last week and then picked up another injury so hasn't trained all week. Ings and sturridge injured origi looks lost and more importantly rodgers signed a lot of those strikers he wouldn't play.

This could be good for Coutinho if he's playing central. Lallana, Milner and Firmino all around him pressing high, if they keep up the tempo I think Mikel will struggle.

Yup, one person was responsible (or at least partly) for the options up top and the other isn't and is left with a group with his 3 first choice forwards injured.
