Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And a Davies cameo to block a rival's 5 point autosub, lovely

Never ever buying Harry Kane again this season

    Ever

To be fair, it's not totally his fault. Alli, Dier, Dembele had no interest passing it forward for most of the game.

    Assists

Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the final pass before a goal is scored. An assist is awarded whether the pass was intentional (that it actually creates the chance) or unintentional (that the player had to dribble the ball or an inadvertent touch or shot created the chance).

If an opposing player touches the ball after the final pass before a goal is scored, significantly altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is awarded.

Rose crossed, Lescott headed out altering the intended destination of ball??

Intended destination is the goal scoring area ... the 18 yard box

This is the result of Spurs' arrogance for over an hour.

They could've won 5-0 but thought they could cruise, doing barely anything, not drive forward and play negatively for the evening and walk away.

    Madness.
this is what they have been doing of late
I knew they would once they got the second but I didn't see villa breaking them down!

    Eriksen captain fail :(
If i had kept Walcott I would have played Mahrez and captained Pelle.
    17 point swing....

and so ends one of the most annoying gameweeks in a long time for me

Captain Kane better late than never.

That Kane goal sums up a perfectly miserable and annoying week of FPL. Unfcuking believable. 93td minute just to add salt to the wounds.

I was gonna bring in Van Dijk instead of Alderweireld, got rid of Azpa. Not a huge swing but a waste of a transfer and down 2-4 points.

Phew. I was raging that it was looking like 4 points from Dier and Kane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

I was hoping for a massacre from Kane, but after a diabolical game where he did fúck all, probably deserving nothing, I'll take one goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭sheroman01

After a quick glance through my leagues and the people around me, only 2 had Kane, 1 captain! I'll take it! I missed Rose injury, anything serious?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

One thing though, as much as many of Kane's dribbles didn't come off, his runs were ignored, and he just wasn't playing that well, he's still one of the surest finishers out there.

    A class act.

Looks like I'm moving top of the boards sky sports FF tonight too. Many thanks hurriKANE!

It was actually Eriksen who could do me the most damage. A modest score from Kane and no clean sheet I can handle and should not hurt rank too much.

Eriksen blank wins me a big scalp in the Moolah H2H taking down the defending champion.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Knowing Kane would **** me over & Spurs would run a muck.. I felt goals galore tonight...

So I backed Spurs & Over 3.5 goals at 4/1

    and

Harry Kane to score anytime at 3/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,068 ✭✭✭Tipsy McSwagger

Finished on 58pts thanks to Kane's late goal.

that alli fella is a good cheap potential bench player 4.9 2 goals and 2 assists so far.

I think Carragher is after saying he got 16 goals for MK dons last season. A very good cheap potential bench player if so!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,358 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

If Kane keeps his bonus point I'll finish on 73 (-12).

I won't rush to do -12 again but I'd be 20 points worse off this week without it. I never want the team in such a jock again.

    54 points.
2 bad weeks in a row.

I missed most of the 2nd half. Was Rose's injury bad? Any assist for the Kane goal?

I can't be the only one who's reading Kane and pronouncing it the same as you would Mane!?

I did kane anytime as part of a double he was 4/6

On the PP app he was a power play for anytime scorer at 3/1, max was 10 euro you could put on

Good lad Kane, a goal and 2bps - looks like 73 (from 10 players) onwards and upwards.

Isn't it just, I was in the doldrums, now I'm almost giddy!

I'm interested to see how far back up the rankings I go, I was 3k starting the week then back to 15k before tonight's 18 point total.

    Fecking Kane!

Ending the week on 61. Fairly average by all accounts. Should see a further drop. Getting out of the 200k deadzone is proving difficult. Oh how I miss the glory days of struggling to stay in the top 30k! :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,600 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Why is Kane getting bonus points? Pelle seemed more deserving!

The answer to the above question is I'm back to ~6k

That Kane goal turned a disastrous week into a far more palatable mediocre week.
