    Hi all,

Can't get Windows to boot .. Even to safe mode.
    Get "CRITICAL_PROCESS_ERROR"

Have tied reset with "Keep my files" ... Got an error there too.

Can get to Dos ... That's about it?

What is the handiest way to get files off? Take out drive and put into drive enclosure and get files off?

Also what would ye recommend for getting Windows booting again?

    Thanks in advance!
    Keith.

Yep remove drive to rescue files,if you have a windows 10 iso burn it to a disk and try and boot the pc with it.

Easiest way to rescue files is burn a linux iso to a cd or make a bootable usb, just power on and boot off it, mount your windows hard drive and drag your files off onto another plugged in device like hhd or usb, any linux will do this, try ubuntu for ease of use, or puppylinux small download

    Hi lads,

    Thanks for the replies!
Managed to get a DOS prompt.
It picked up a usb flash drive ... Managed to copy all relevant files to the drive.

Created a bootable usb Windows 10 drive
    Reinstalled from that.

Shoddy error on Windows 10 and Reset in any mode failed miserably
