I currently have the below combo.
    Motherboard ECS GeForce7050M-M
    AMD TRIPLE CORE PHENOM™ 8450+
    Ram 4GB DDR2
    xfx geforce 9600 gso

Everything ran fine until I started messing with Virtual Machines.
Now I need more RAM but motherboard won't take anymore RAM.

Can anyone suggest a DDR3 motherboard and CPU that would preform at least as good as above. I don't want to pick a poorer performing cpu because I cheaped out.
Need pcix 16x for graphics but thats pretty much standard these days.

    TIA.

    1. What is your budget?

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows?

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

    5. Do you need a monitor?

5a. If yes, what size do you need.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals?

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    8. How can you pay?

    9. When are you purchasing?

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?

Fill out the above, then it makes it easier for people to help.

You also couldn't get a poorer CPU unless you buy a 10 year old dual core.
