Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This seems to be a bragging thread for quite a few posters, I too am a model with well behaved hair from d4 with a great job and people judge me perfectly on my perfection.........blah blah
Easy for you to say. You try being long-legged with a peachy arse, ample breasts, flat stomach, tiny waist, flawless skin/hair and every second person assuming you're a lingerie model.

Were you in Frankfurt airport last year, and did you have a short dark stranger fall asleep on your shoulder? I fell asleep waiting for a delayed flight on the shoulder of a man fitting your exact description, and he didn't move for three whole hours so as not to disturb me! :)

As a very short person, how do you fall asleep on the shoulder of someone so much taller? Or were you standing up at the time?

I began to go to lose me hair in my late 20s,I'm 34 now and have the lot shaved off.Unfortunately, my head is covered in scars,I was always a bit rough looking since I was a teen. Now,at 34,i look like something fresh out of the joy.I've been turned away from many pubs because of it in my own city, despite being sober as a judge and impeccably dressed. Really gets me down sometimes :o

I saw someone get their comeuppance for stereotyping recently and it was funny.

It was a work situation where a certain individual has stereotyped someone as being very low down in the food chain and there attitude was... being polite but very much I don't have to make a effort as the person I am talking to is probable the receptionist or something, I am too busy important to be bothered with them. Long story short she was the financial controller.

In recent times I've been stereotyped as being a male model despite being a bit overweight. I'm not ugly by any means but why it's assumed that I earn a living from that I'll never know.

    But why male models?

The English language was carefully, carefully cobbled together by three blind dudes and a German dictionary

The reason behind it I think may be because they thought I was particular about my appearance when I'm actually not.

I'm a Celtic fan therefore I'm a lager drinking, unemployed IRA supporter according to quite a large number of folk.

Step 1 - go to 'Murica
    Step 2 - be Irish

Flippin all the time. Cripes. I could write a book!

If I tell foreign people I am Irish - they think my family is full of alcoholics and we all drink like fish.

If I mention I'm a Christian, they think I must be bristling with sexual repressions and in thrall to black-clad clergymen.

If I dare tell my age, I am immediately classified as out of date and can have no relevant opinions on modern issues.

If I give my home address, the faces of shopkeepers change and I can swing "Oh, I forgot my cheque-book!" with a charming suburban smile. [inverted snobbery]

The list goes on and on....everyone makes assumptions: they're a shortcut.

A useful way of grouping, if you must, but no use at all for individuals.

I'd rather look like a bogey c°nt than a pretentious pr1ck to be honest,I get annoyed with the discrimination I regularly have to deal with in my own city, simply because of my appearance, not great for the oul confidence as I'm sure you'll understand.
As an aside,I notice your surname is Gonzales. Your not a fedora salesman by any chance? If I'm right,PM me.Whilst i myself wouldnt be caught dead sporting one,I know plenty of clowns who will, and I could shift a load if the price was right

I haven't seen that film in full. I watch about 15 minutes of it and thought it was an insult to my intelligence.
