    Pelle for me

    Vardy(WAT)
    Going with the Algerian Messi.

    Sanchez(TOT)
Vardy. Consistent for quite some time now. They dispatched West Brom's defence so I expect them to do the same!

    I still don't know !

    Bony(avl)
Now I've changed from Pelle to KdB!
    Still not 100%

But Pelle has only scored 2 of his 13 league goals away from St Marys so I can't risk it.

    Sanchez(TOT)
I've gone with Vardy, Mahrez vice. I wouldn't be at all surprised if both blanked however.

Torn between one of vardez or Sanchez. I have faith that the Leicester attack will deliver, but I think Sanchez could explode. But I think Spurs Arsenal is more likely to finish nil all. Tbh I think I'm leaning towards Sanchez at this moment in time, but that could and probably will change

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,618 ✭✭✭✭siblers

**** it, going with Mahrez. Pelle is poor scoring away from home and De Bruyen isn't free scoring either, although I have a feeling Sanchez could do serious damage tomorrow. My captain choices have always been pretty wrong so far so gonna go against my initial choice for a change.

    BJ Banda.

    Or Sterling.

I am tempted to give Kane the armband for the ultimate balls of steel award

3rd season in and it's a howler. 469 points and 14th in my mini-league. Had him benched for his Chelsea demolition last season too.

Gonna go with Sterling for the hell of it, another trainwreck shall ensue!

    Hennessey

    Kolarov VVD Catchcart

Payet Sanchez (V) Mahrez Sterling (C)

    Kane BUIB Vardy

99M team value with 4.2 ITB with a bench of Schwarzer, Redmond, Richards and Targett. It's a mess.

Any chance of a VVD hat-trick captaincy call?

    Keep playing.

Certainly got it right when Ageuro scored 5. Not that I listened. It still hurts.

    I'm plumping for Vardy

Even though I have Gomes in goal, if Vardy scores a brace it'll soften the blow

Why are people suggesting payet? I know he has a home game but it's against Everton and there are easier options on paper. Possibly going to bench him myself as I can't bring myself to drop anyone else since my front 8 are:
    Kdb ozil sanchez Mahrez payet
    Lukaku pelle vardy

Sent front 8 excpet Bony instead of Pelle and benching the same player, hope it goes well for us!

Similar front 8 except Ighalo instead of Lukaku, Coutinho instead of Ozil. Planning on benching Payet. Hope it goes better than my decision to bench Coutinho last week!

Well I benched Mahrez, can't get much worse than those two really.

Same. Also sold Igahlo just before 11:30.

Speaking of ballsy Im thinking Giroud!
More likely I'll go Bony or maybe Lukaku. Better decide soon.

Taking the captaincy of Kane and giving it to Mahrez as I have no Vardy. Does that make sense?

  • Registered Users Posts: 932 ✭✭✭Markx

    Pelle(sun)
Mane - a man so nippy and quick, should give Sunderland's defensive pick the slip

Picking the highest points scoring player in FPL this season (and arguably the best player of EPL thus far) as your captain does not qualify as having big balls.

Now if you were to pick Kane away to Arsenal, given Arsenal's mid-week drubbing, that would be a ballsy move. Or if you backed Coutinho at home to Palace after his mid-week rest & the renewed form of Pool, that would have a dollop of ballsiness all right.

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Soo....Mediocre balls time?....

I thought I had read some people here mentioning Sanchez good record against Spurs. Is that so though? Previous results I checked on 11v11.com don't suggest it ...

Gone with KDB, had it on Payet but changed mainly because he's playing tomorrow. That safety net if today goes tits up is always good :o

    had it on vardy
seen he was just passed fit
    switched to Alexis
    now on mahrez
all in the last 5 minutes
it's like a game of roullette

Changed it to my new signing Mane in the last minute or so, he could well be far too much for Sunderlands keystone defenders to handle, sorry I haven't Pelle today as well.

Arsenal could have a big reaction to their 5-1 drubbing during the week. Sanchez could well be the right choice

I am delighted I stuck with my guns and Vardy. Complete fluke in that Mahrez let him take the penalty but such is this game!

We did speculate that this might happen, I mentioned that I definitely thought it would anyway. If I could take the Vardy 9 points now instead of trying my luck with Bony tomorrow, I definitely would. Hoping that I disagree with that statement at 3:20 tomorrow, courtesy of a 4-3 win to Villa.

I'd wonder though would he have let him take the penalty if it was still 0-0 at the time.

I think if he did at 1-0, then yes, he had enough faith to go with Vardy as more than just a token gesture. Vardy has a 100% peno record this season. Mahrez missed one in the peno shoot out recently.

Wouldn't be surprised if the hierarchy has changed after today actually.

    Vardy(WAT)
If the crowd hadn't booed Mahrez, he wouldn't have given it up. I'd think any goal to extend Vardy's streak is his, but otherwise it will be Mahrez per usual
