History society in Sligo?

Anyone know of a history or historical society in Sligo, or anything like it? I am generally interested, but am also promoting an event in the next couple of weeks to do with history, and it would be useful to contact an organization like this to help with advertising.

There are Ballymote Heritage group and Sligo field club that I know of but there may be others.

If anyone is interested in history, there is a talk this Friday on the untold story of the aftermath of the Spanish Armada. Presented by Sligo Spanish Society, it takes place at 7.30pm in the Yeats Building.
