Anyone want to apply for newcastle and Celtic jobs?

    Newcastle United 12.1M cash, total value 144.5M, M.SISSOKO G.WIJNALDUM D.JANMAAT
    Celtic 24.3M, Total Value 99.2M, E.IZAGUIRRE S.BROWN J.FORREST

In other news, massive games tonight in Div 1, for myslef in 2nd spot against league leaders Spartak Moscow, who could win the title with a 1 point lead going into tonights game, and Club America sniffing behind just 3 points off top spot.

Looking forward to a transfer shake up when the window opens at the beginning of next season

As a Newcastle supporter I'll have to throw my hat into the ring for them and see if I can do any better than the previous Managers with them ;)

You have one advantage if spartak don't win tonight is playing newcastle in the last game of the season.

No problem. Applications will be open until 11th Feb 8pm, last day of the season.

Big decision if newcastle go down and you get promoted :)

    Good luck to everyone tonight.

I think Bremen have Div 2 in the bag, playing manager less US Palermo on a bad run of Form, and Luis Suarez has torn Div 2 apart.

3 teams in with a chance of winning the Division 1 title. Beating Moskva last week was a massive result for Myself, putting Stuggart 2 points clear with a favourable goal difference. Playing for an away draw tonight :D

Griezmann back just in time for the big match, would be typical to lose to an unmanaged team now :(

Best (worst) of luck to Spartak and our glorious leader at stuttgart

My team did everything in their power to lose that match, Gomez with an 89th minute equaliser, didn't matter in the end but got us second place

When are the playoffs usually played? They don't appear to be fixed yet

    Bremen are division 2 champions!

Anderlecht loved the atmosphere in D2 soo much this season they have decided to spend another season there and keep the party going ... plenty time to graduate to D1 yet

Sao Paolo went to the dogs in the middle of the season and fell away from the automatic promotion spots.

    :pac:

I was happy just to be in with a chance to make CL football next season to generate extra revenue. We were sitting mid table and just had a good run going 10 games unbeaten at the business end of the season. Delighted to be Division 1 champions.

Huntelaar and Gervinho developed into a nice partnership, but breaking news tonight coming out of Stuttgart is that Gervinho has signed for Chinese side Hebei China Fortune. Stuttgart would like to wish him well and thank him for helping them lift the Tonic Wine League Title this season. :)

11 million prize money for second place, not too bad

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,952 ✭✭✭JamboMac

I'm happy with 3 million for surviving.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,750 ✭✭✭redzerdrog

    7 million for 6th in division 2!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,099 ✭✭✭tonic wine

£12.7M for winning Div 1, in the tonic wine league.
£14.7M for winning Div 1, in the can he do it league.

Same Amount of teams, why a difference in prize money I wonder?

Edit: less teams actually. My bad.

This will be our fifth meeting this season. We won the 2 league meetings but you won both the finals so god knows how tonight will go.

Based on club valuations, Div 1 finished up with the richest clubs filling 4 of the top 5 positions. Middlesbrough look to be the division over achievers finishing in 4th place. Special mention should go to the Kaisersluutern manager for avoiding the drop with a team valued at only 85M

    CLUB|VALUE|POSITION
    Stuttgart |178.3M | 1st
    Spartak Moskva |154.0M | 3rd
    Club Brugge KV | 152.0M | 5th
    Club America | 145.2M | 2nd
    Newcastle | 144.6M | 13th
    Cologne | 143.8M | 9th
    Atletico Mineiro | 143.8 | 12th
    Brighton | 139.1M | 10th
    Feynoord | 133.2M | 6th
    Middlesbrough | 123.2M | 4th
    Tigres | 118.7M | 7th
    Estudiantes | 114.9M | 8th
    Kaisersluutern | 85.1M | 11th
    LA Galaxy | 82.7M | 14th

The richer clubs dominated division 2 with 6 of the richest clubs filling the top 7 spots. Partizan definitely the over achievers of division 2, doing a great job to get promoted with a club in 8th position of the valuations table. These values will change before the new season starts when loaned out players return to their clubs.

    CLUB|VALUE|POSITION

    Bremen | 174.7M | 1st
    Internacional | 172M | 4th
    Anderlecht | 163.2M | 7th
    Corinthians | 156.4M | 6th
    Sao Paulo | 155M | 3rd
    Flamengo | 153.8M | 5th
    River plate | 153.8M | 11th
    Partizan | 134.3 | 2nd
    Hellas Verona | 124.6 | 9th
    US Palermo | 117M | 10th
    Seattle | 100.9M | 8th
    Celtic | 98.8M | 12th
    Nuremberg | 83.4M | 14th
    Boca | 17.5M | 13th

This is where we all started at the beginning of season 1 before any transfer dealings..
Obviously the changes to player valuations by SM will have made big differences

    CLUB|PLAYERS|RATING| VALUE

    Tigres UANL|32|86|174.7M

    VfB Stuttgart|36|86|119.2M
