Not sure there's much disadvantage over medium term though. The biggest gulf will come about with cash revenue. A club with a 60k stadium will generate at least half a million more a week than a club with 6k seats. Although admittedly there's probably no clubs over 104m with such a small stadium, but that's just an example.

Some people like the challenge as well! I'm not fussy either way, I'll give it a go with it without the 104m minimum, but id lean slightly towards removing it (mainly cos I've 3 potential clubs lined up just outside the minimum!)

Send tonic a list in order of preference and he can list your team (highest one left on your list) when your turn comes round?

As GT said, you can send me a list of your teams in order if preference if you wish. Also, depending on which number you are drawn, it could very well be at least Sunday before getting around to your turn.

Everyone will be given 12hrs grace to pick a team before moving on to the next in line which I think is fair, unless I hear any objections.

I'm only getting round to looking at clubs now, and I'm a bit confused. When you're looking at the league each team has a value but when you click into the team and look at their squad some have a higher value there?

Idea.....

For unmanaged teams within the GW, how about selecting strong teams with a higher rating of maybe 90, that they stay unmanaged until season 6 for example.

The idea is try and prevent a gulf in class between managed and unmanaged teams as the game world progresses. It will also create a challenge playing the unmanaged teams for the first couple of seasons.

Thoughts?

It's taking loaned out players into account. I'm not going to get hung up on it.
As said earlier in the thread, it's stadium capacity and attendance that will generate income throughout the seasons.

Have a look at GW's that have just started season 1. If the team is unmanaged you can click and view the squad. Gold Championship 468 maybe.

Yesterday there was a gold championship that was starting soon, but that has started now.

I'm in that championships and bids are flying in on unmanaged teams / external teams players ... those ratings wont be right for much longer

Post 1 is updated with most teams I could find and all their relevant Info. I would still recommend researching the team you decide to pick.

As it's looking now, it's shaping up into two divisions of 12.

I'm thinking of adding the following for unmanaged, two in each division:
Hamburger 87 value 185M
Celtic 85 Value £156M
Club América Value
Boca Juniors 86 £170M

I've picked the above teams because they fill their stadiums, generating plenty income and should be easy enough teams to build if anyone wanted to manage them after season 1/2. Any objections or suggestions?


Transfer Windows:
The full season will take 24 Turns (12 weeks)
Window 1: Turn 1 to Turn 6 (open 6 turns)
Closed: Turn 7 to Turn 12 (close 6 turns)
Window 2: Turn 13 to turn 18 (open 6 turns)
Closed: Turn 19 to turn 24 (close 6 turns)

Any suggestions on the above?
