When I went in at first my squad was valued at about 150m, My keeper was showing on the squad page as being valued at 9.5million but when I clicked on the player he was valued at 6.2million.

It seems to have rectified itself now though as by squad is valued at 107mil and the keeper now showing as 6.2m

Showing up as 117M now
As Redzerdrog said above, maybe teething problems and taking time to adjust or something.

Those bids were accepted fairly quickly! Fairly uncontested for most deals so happy with that. I'm level for a few players so it'll be interesting how they pan out.

One big deal I'm waiting on will bankrupt me which is Luis Suarez for 2 players plus 10m (the whole budget) . Expecting it to fall through to be honest

With player values seemingly changing ... I'm not sure on Ruben Neves (when I bid van de borre was valued @5m+, now with the offered accepted, he's only values 3.8, so my bid is worth 1.2 less than it was when placed )

And with player values changing I've had 5 bids point blank refused ... ie the bid was well over the players value but when my p/e players changed in value ... the bids fell well short.

I've canceled my bids on DeBruyne(short about 5m) and Neves(3rd in line about 1m behind) ... not something I normally do as I 've quite often been 3rd or even 4th best offer but people go mad and end up not being able to cover all deals and I ended up getting the player .... but I need to move on and look for other deals (and I think the personnel here is far more capable than some of the managers in the Gold Championships :P )

With fallout coming out it seems there might be a few sharks gone from the transfer market

I love this part. It's not straight up cash, so your trying to work out which players the other club values more. It can go either way, but it's a good feeling when you come out on top of even deals.

Most clubs have now rectified to their true value. It's not bad with the exception of maybe 3 clubs. Much better then it was when the gameworld was created. It's good how it worked out that most the smaller clubs ended up in Div 1 together and division 2 is also much more compact, which should lead to a competitive league :cool:

It will be interesting to see the stats after season 1, and see how they compare to when we started. Also see who can increase the club value percentage the most compared to their starting value after each season. I might even see how the values fare out after each transfer window closes and see who is doing the the better business financially

Why not
Get rid of all the players in your squad in PX deals.

Because your squad is of low value, new players coming in will have a much higher value for you, then if other clubs signed them. Take full advantage of it.

I've got caught out now in a few bids, where players coming in lowered the value of my players i had offered in other deals, and having to re-submit the offers and starting the clock again. Something to watch out for.

I was destroyed at the start as I'm used to playing in gameworlds where you cannot exchange players.

I had to redo all of my first bids and have lost out on a good few players as a result. Se la vie.

The concept of players values in your squad changing on the back of bids on inbound players being accepted is something I havent seen before ... I've seen values change when the new players arrive in the squad but never when the bid is accepted ....

Its a pain in the ring really ....

I wonder is it their way of smoothing out transfers and sharing the love among all teams ....

Looking at some of the transfers being done, some teams are going to be very strong. I look at my team and with the exception of Suarez, I think I might have quite a weak team compared to most considering I spent my whole budget and traded pretty much every player....

In saying that, I have 90 and 89 rated midfielders on their way in today. Feghouli and Allan (Napoli)

EDIT: Ok had a proper look through the teams. Dunno why I was thinking most teams were very strong. Some teams have a couple of 90+ but after that there isn't much. I only plan to have 2 90+ but I also have about 6 89 rated players.

Haven't done too bad after all!

This has rightly fecked me over with many bids I thought I had won :mad:

In one particular instance I had two 88 rated attackers that pretty much halved in value when bids on Icardi and Sterling were accepted which lead to bid I was winning coming up short.

I also had a about 4 85 rated Defenders tied into deals whos value decreased significantly when Umtiti and Ginter came in :mad:

It crazy as these values dropped after the original bids were accepted so I couldn't even amend them

Ive seen before where values changed on players in your squad not tied in accepted deals WHEN ARRIVALS LAND IN THE SQUAD but now values changes on ALL your players WHEN YOUR BID ON A NEW PLAYER IS ACCEPTED ....

I honestly think its an attempt at balancing teams / squads aftrr the initial flurry
