    Gonna get a new PC for Christmas, it will be used for gaming and computer based design such as Revit and auto-cad. this is the spec ive done up on PC specialist. just looking for some feedback price is 1400 including shipping

    It's fair expensive. Have you shopped around, tried dabs or the like for a prebuilt?

    Board €150
    Ram €80
    970 €350
    SSD €60
    HDD €50
    CD Drive €20
    550W PSU €60

    Total-€1180

    Just to put into perspective the individual parts. I'd shop around, you may be able to knock 150 or so off.

    That i7 is not overclockable by the way, and the PSU wouldn't push 2x970's so I'm not sure why theres a high end board with a cooler :confused:

    Even with the secondary drive, I'd want a larger SSD. They're cheap these days, no need to go less than 256GB imo.
