Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Northampton bringing a couple of thousand to Coventry tomorrow, a great performance, big win then a draw against a minnow so the BBC/BT put us on telly, then we win that, then a draw against one of the Premier League big boys (or Chelsea!). Not too much to ask is it?

I'm cheering on the league team, whose finances probably aren't as good as Salford's!

Yeah I don't think Salford qualify for proper 'minnow we should all get behind' status given their recent fame stems from their connections with the biggest club in the country.

Well Salford have put it up to County, they had the best chances on a rubbish pitch (which of course they are used to)

Got to say, for the level they are at, Salford are performing remarkably well, and justifying all the hype they've got over the past few weeks

Northampton Town are on TV in just about every other country in the world tomorrow, so might be seekable if you want to see a possible upset, against the lowest rank team left in competition.

Oh, and same as last round, I'll be cheering on the league team against Salford.

    Why?

They're the team that need the financial boost of a cup run. Have more empathy with a league 2 team than I do Salford and all that now goes with them.

Very good penalty, one nil Hartlepool.

    Lenient/crap ref decision there.

Edit: and again. At least he's letting both teams get away with shockers.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,325 ✭✭✭✭Dozen Wicked Words

One one, from a free kick. Salford look dangerous when they cross it in, Hartlepool soft defending.

I hope Salford City win only so they might get drawn against Liverpool. They'd hate that.

BBC saving on petrol money I suppose.

Replay it is, doubt the BBC will have the front to show it but who knows, seem to have a thing for Salford.

Bitter? No, annoyed by their fascination with Salford? Absolutely.

But why are you annoyed exactly?

You feel someone else should get it?

    If so who?

Any of the other non league teams still left in the draw who actually need the money, and weren't shown by the BBC in Round One. Plenty of choice.

    92 apparently!

Delyth Lloyd, the reporter at Sixfields said 3000 Northwich Fans went mad when they scored. They may well have done but 2641 of them aren't in the ground.
