Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well seen as I was requested to start it by a Spurs fan....

I'll be in block 92 of the home section standing up because we hate Tottenham.

The perennial CL qualifiers against the Channel 5 mob up the road.

Will Seven Sisters or Finsbury Park be rocking.

    Would love another 5-2.

    COYG!

Here's some Amy for the Spurs' fans.

Will the tears be drying on their own at 6pm???

    Oy Vey!

I'm going for 2-1 to the Gunners, Super Sanchez and Le Sex for Arsenal and lets say... eh, ... Danny Rose... gets a consolation for the Riotous Neighbours!!!!

    London is RED

    North London is ALWAYS Red

If Spurs learnt anything from watching Bayern they will attack the Arsenal back 4 on the ball and stop them getting the ball to Cazorla. Spurs are a well drilled pressing team so they might fancy this.

I wonder can they be as quick and disciplined as Bayern, inevitably Arsenal will get past the press, will be interesting to see the spurs defense reacting.

I hope Spurs do come out all guns blazing because at the Emirates that usually works out pretty well for us, and at the end of the day, Spurs are no Bayern!

    3-1 Arsenal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    3 - 1 to the Gunners.
Should be a good game but Arsenal will have to be at their best on the day especially as they're short some regulars.
A repeat of last Wed against Bayern by our defence and midfield and we wont win but we're at home and that should swing it. Plus we're generally a better team.

    Standing up in block 126!

Should be a good game. Spurs have only 2 days rest for this, whereas we'll have had three so hopefully Arsenal will be the little bit fresher. It's a close one to call though, Spurs looking a lot more like a team lately (for once) but struggling to keep clean sheets. Should be end to end stuff. Ozil will probably be the one to make the difference.

A repeat of that 4-4 would be pretty sweet

I find it a bit cringy when irish fans get all riled up about local rivalries in the uk like this or the Merseyside derby. Unless you're from there, who cares?

Not confident about this one, 2-1 to Tottenham.

Well said. 2-2 but might put a few pound on 2-3. Come on De Spurs.

    Who is Harry Kane?

Have a feeling this will be a frustrating game from an Arsenal point of view. I haven't seen Spurs play this season but they do appear to be difficult to beat, based on their results. I don't think there will be many goals in this. I'll go for a 1-0 win for the Arsenal, Giroud to pop up with the winner in the last 20 mins, happy days!

It's not rocket science. From watching these games previously, you see the hatred the opposing fans have for your team, you remember things said and stuff chanted and incidents happening on the pitch, then you just naturally develop a dislike for that club over time and it builds and builds.

And at the end of the day, who doesn't dislike Spurs? With their own little forum.

Jays this forum envy is getting on some

I'd rather all Arsenal's trophies myself...

As cringeworthy as moving to Australia, following a sport with no meaningful presence outside that country, supporting a team and trying to wind up opposing fans?
I was in Hobart a few weeks ago and bumped into Luke Hodge and Isaac Smith! It was a day or two after their game with Collingwood. Got a photo with them to send to my hawks friends :)

Ps I've lived in London 23 years, longer than Ireland and I don't actually see anyone on here that ruled up. A bit of craic only!

I do understand where you are coming from, but I have been to 11 of these derbies and there is no day like it. I guess I have bulit up the dislike over many many years and games :D

Looking forward to this game tomorrow. I fancy Spurs to nick a win. Arsenal have plenty injury woes at the moment.

    Went Arsenal to win -1
    Giroud to score
    Arsenal 3-1
Both to score Arsenal to win!

    Go Gunners!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 822 ✭✭✭Pudders

Both Arsenal and Spurs fans can put rivalry to one side for a few hours to laugh at the West London train wreck that is Chelsea this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,676 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

God, I'd love the whole stadium to break out into a rousing old "F*** off Mourinho, f*** off Mourinho..."

And then Arsenal to beat Spurs. One nil. Don't care if it's an o.g. and there are zero shots on target.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,205 ✭✭✭Gringo180

This will be a tough game for us today, a lot of people writing off Spurs but they will be hard to break down. Im hoping for a win but I can see this being a scoreless draw. We will miss Walcott today, we are a different team altogether when he starts up top.

I read that somewhere yesterday but for the life of me I can't find it now.
Hopefully it's true but on the injury page it says he's out for 2 more weeks.
