Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Francis up for me in the early game.
Surprised that he's at centre back.

he was last week as well

    Myhill
    Bertrand Kolarov Ward
    Sanchez Mahrez Payet Kdb
    Vardy (c) Pelle Kane

    Mané first sub.

Considered taking Kane out for Lukaku, but figured I'd bet on Kane's form instead. This way I'll have 2 FT for the international break as well.

I actually think its getting closer to the Lampard-Ronaldo-Gerrard-Fabregas every GW:eek:

    Going with:

    Myhill
    Kompany Smalling Monreal
    Sanchez Mahrez Payet KDB
    Vardy Bony(C) Lukaku

    Bench:
    Redmond Wollscheid Martin

Starting the week with -8 (F*ck you combination of drink and long bus journeys!)
For some reason, expecting red arrows this week.

    De Gea
    Rojo, Azpilicueta, Bertrand
    KDB, Payet, Sanchez, Mahrez
    Pelle(C), Lukaku, Ighalo

-12. Think thats 56 points worth of hits I've taken now, I am taking a step back from points hits for the foreseeable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,830 ✭✭✭✭dahat

I'm out on my own captaining KDB in my main league!!

I'm in 50 Shades of ****e if Vardy goes nuts though.

Brought in Moreno for Zabaleta with my FT. Leaves me with:

    Gomes
    Moreno, van Dijk, Cawson
Sanchez, de Bruyne, Mahrez, Ayew, Payet
    Pellé, Lukaku (C)

A very punty captain choice but felt it was a week to gamble. Only Berahino on the bench.

I've been taking quite regular -4 and -8 hits and I'm having one of my better seasons so far.

    I ain't scared :D

is the site struggling for anyone?

Forgetting to confirm my team, I have a slightly changed side due to my AOA weekend last time out! In comes McAuley and out goes Mahrez who I was hoping to captain.

    Myhill
    Bertrand Bellerin McAuley
Sanchez De Bruyne (c) Mane Payet
    Vardy Berahino Pelle

Please Pulis, don't play Berahino, PLEASE!!

    Working fine so far.

But have had many troubles in recent weeks. The last 2 I just couldn't have access to the site while games were actually being played. Was loading forever. Was back to normal (but slow) the evening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,677 ✭✭✭Aenaes

    Butland
    Kolarov Smalling Bertrand
    KDB Mahrez Ozil Payet Sanchez
    Ighalo Vardy(C)

I'm 16 points behind the leader in my league, he's starting to copy my team so the only differentials I have playing this week are Butland, Kolarov and Bertrand.
He has Myhill, Cresswell and Dawson. He even captained Vardy aswell.

If I can make any sort of gain over him I'll be happy.

Feel kind of alone captaining Bony...

City in form, playing against the bottom team, I thought it would have been fairly common. No one in my leagues captained him, all Vardy, Sanchez and Kane.

I am not looking forward to watching Vardy play later.

Huge variance in captains in my leagues.
    Come on Mahrez(c)

Vardy will do nothing. And that's not a jinx.

Did the same. Strangely enough its Sanchez rather than Vardy who I'll have to watch in terror.

They're terrible. Not even close to PL quality.

I'm a gooner and Sanchez has looked wrecked the past two or three games.

And Derby day is never a sure thing

No surprise to see one of their two wins has come against Sunderland anyway. Their fixtures over Christmas are horrendous too. If they don't get anything here I honestly can't see them picking up another point until January.

The problem with a template is that by the time it becomes a template it's in most cases no longer the best option. It becomes a template based on what's happened in the past not what will happen in the future. Of course we need to take a lot of notice of what's happened to date but just as important is what you think will happen in the future and not to be afraid to make decisions based on that.

Presumably he benched elliot and played DeGea!

    Home away attraction causing hassle!

It's like Early games you just want your team to take clean sheets away and Sunday/Monday games you're usually hoping for a brace for your 2nd striker, red card for your rivals keeper and your CB to keep a cleanie and score a set piece header ha!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Elliott
    Rojo Moreno Kolarov
    Sanchez Mane Mahrez KDB
    Pelle Costa Martial

Go on Elliott! Racking up the saves

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,678 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

    Elliot save point

Another good save. All Bournemouth so plenty of time for more.

Dropped Mignolet to the bench and went with Elliot. Has made some fantastic saves!

Why would anyone ever be kicking themselves over not playing Elliot away to Bournemouth ahead of De Gea at home to West Brom.

I didn't kick myself over not transferring in and captaining Kone last week.

Same really haha, nobody literally kicks themselves or vomits over these things. They're phrases that really mean the same thing.

I don't really concern myself with the opportunity cost of my decisions unless it's a close run decision or I look back and wonder how I made that decision in the first place.

    true
I was annoyed last week though cos there was a genuine decision to make between begovic and Elliot and I went with reputation !

Few people here expecting red arrows but I'm expecting all green (...famous last words!)

    De Gea
    ----Kolarov--Naughton--Bertrand
    Payet--Sánchez--De Bruyne(c)--Mahrez
    Vardy--Pelle--Bony

There's definietly a template going now - Payet, Sánchez, De Bruyne, Mahrez, Vardy, Pelle, Bony/Lukaku.
