    Hi!

I'd need some help with a build that has potential for future upgrades...

    First things first:

    1. What is your budget?

    500 - 900 (anything over 1000 after January).

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/Internet].

Gaming, mostly. I'd like to play games like Deus Ex HR - MD when it comes out, Fallout 4 (the reason I'm buying PC), Skyrim, The Witcher 3 and so on.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows?

    Nope.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

    Nope.

    5. Do you need a monitor?

    I do, yes - 19 - 22.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? (...)

Yes, but I'll buy that by myself in shops, probably.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    Not really, no.

    8. How can you pay? [Credit Card/Laser]

    Card.

    9. When are you purchasing?

As soon as possible, before December.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?

    No need.

I did try "hardwareversand" and this is what I ended up with:

    CPU - Intel Core i5-4670 Box, LGA1150, 229,99 €

    MB - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H, Sockel 1150, ATX, 119,99 €

    RAM - 16GB Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9, 78,99 €

CASE - Aerocool GT Black Advance Edition Midi Tower, 33,99 €

    PSU - XILENCE Performance Serie A 730 Watt, 60,99 €

    GRAPHICS - KFA² GeForce GTX 970 Gamer OC Black Edition, 4GB GDDR5 256-bit Dual DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP1.2, 332,99 €

    HD - Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s, 46,99 €

SOUND - Sound Blaster Audigy Fx 5.1 (Retail), 33,99 €

    NETWORK - TP-LINK TL-WN881ND, 15,99 €

What I need is to decrease the price, wherever possible, without to much loss on preformance, because I'd prefer to buy it ASAP and then upgrade it when i save more money.

    Thanks...

    Get a cheaper i5 4460 179 euro.

    You don't need a z type motherboard(its for overcloking cpus that have a k at the end example i5 4690k. Drop to a h97. 80-90
Or an asrock h97 anniversary 66 euro.

Change Psu to a be quiet 500.

Change the graphics card to an Msi 345.

You don't need 16 gigs of ram. 8 gigs of crucial ballistic will cost you 40 ish.

Is the sound card really necessary?

Thats just a start. And don't buy from hardwareversand. De.

Use mindfactory.De get a case on amazon.

It's a grand build, few bits and pieces I'd change.

Wouldn't recommend HWVS out of principal, mindfactory, computer universe and Amazon are all sound alternatives.

    i5 4690k €220
    Z97 board €100
    1tb HDD €50
    8gb DDR3 €40
    Case €100
    GTX970 €350
    550w PSU €60
    Total €920

Newish Intel with overclockable i5. You'll be able to get a very good case for this, won't have to max it obviously.

I'd go for pretty much any GPU that isn't KFA². MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, EVGA etc. all make good cards.

Corsair, BeQuiet, XFX, Cooler Master, SeaSonic all make good PSUs, wouldn't go for a Xilence. That one wasn't going to pull close to 730w anyways, a 500 or 550w.

8gb RAM is more than enough for gaming in most cases.

    No need in a soundcard.

Futureproof wise, you've overclocking, i7s, most GPUs and 24gb RAM to be switched straight in whenever you need an upgrade.

Follow Sterlings CPU advice if you don't want to overclock. You'll knock about €80 off what I've up
