Yeah sad alright. Its been quite poor for the last few months. A lot of database issues, the picture uploading thing has been hit and miss.
Dsyde has put in 12 years in fairness, sounds like he has had enough.

Reminds me of when Killercabs closed down. Arcade Otaku came out of that. I'd say you'll have a similar forum pop up to fill the gap.

Still, always sad to see such a great resource go :(

What I really liked is that it was a very friendly forum and no question was too stupid.

AO has its merits but it can be a viper pit on occasion.

AO is a bit of a candy elitist land... suits me down to the ground. :pac:

Ya I've kinda gravitated a bit more to UKVac recently as well but will miss J+, although I won't miss reading the same threads on both sites..

I would agree, most people are on both.

Seems to be a lot of bad blood recently too.

And it's back up. I know they are having ongoing server issues which might just be one of the final straws for the admin. He's saying closure 1st Jan so anything downtime between now and then I'd put down to tech issues.

Gives people time to get their stuff off the site i guess. Shame to have to start the site from scratch if its a database gone poop
