Because Rousey is an animal, her fights last seconds..not rounds. So far in the UFC Holm has been average and less than impressive considering the hype when she signed to the UFC and her background. She just changed all that though!

Delighted for her! Fought the perfect fight, when she got back up when Ronda got her down that felt like a huge moment. And her taking down Ronda at the end of the first seemed like it was to prove a point.

She handled it all with class too, waiting to commiserate with Ronda when she was out cold, rather than going mad celebrating like most would. Contrast that with Ronda at the weigh ins and refusing to touch gloves.

Mad how so many people will have bought this purely to watch Ronda, only to tune in and see that!

Awesome to see this. Its what UFC needed I think.

Terrific hands on Holm, and proved that Rhonda hasnt got the hands that people think. Granted Holm has fought for world titles in boxing and kickboxing, her technical ability was and is way above Rousey.

Felt the same, I say Rondas head was up her ass.

This might level her, next time ronda waits for high kick, patience, take down, arm bar.

But that's what I expected tonight so what the **** do I know.

Yeah I think Holm suprised most people with how she was able to handle Ronda grabbing onto her, and getting up when she was put down. I'm sure Ronda will be better prepared the next time and maybe not as emotional. But she no longer has this unbeatable aura about her, that's huge.

Also we seen the big gap in striking between them tonight, makes all the talk of Ronda's striking over the last few months look ridiculous.

I was listening to Rogan and John Wayne Parr and he was saying Ronda might have weak, or had problems with in the past, her knees.

I voted Holm, more in hope than anything!

When you look at when upsets have occurred it's usually when the star has had other things to deal with or their head slightly turned.

Ronda in the last few weeks has had her Mam say she wanted to run her coach over, taken a bit of heat for her relationship with Browne, and her coach file for bankruptcy. Then there's pretty much everyone writing off Holm and a bit of celeb exposure for Ronda. This is a recipe for disaster.
