Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah that was such a disappointment but it makes you wonder is Holm ready to burst the Ronda bubble and all its worth for the UFC,shes gonna know that if she does beat Ronda she is gonna cost the UFC and the sport in general a lot of money.

which doesn't mean a thing as she won't get paid a ton unless she wins. Champs earn the bucks

You should have put some money on Holm as I have time travelled back in time to see Rousey get knocked out live in real time!

To be honest i am hoping for it and wouldnt stay up if i didn't have some little bit of hope,my main hope is that she can keep Ronda at bay because if she can somehow keep it standing, she has the ability to embarrass Ronda on the feet, thats obviously the dream anyway haha.

Rogan has me swayed. I'll be disappointed if she doesn't at least give Rousey something to think about. I don't think Holm will beat her but I'd like it to be competitive.

That is mesmeric. Im not even sure how long ive been watching it.

On the fight. If hilm can keep ronda outside she has a chance. If ronda gets her hands on her well armbar

Holm will never earn Ronda money no matter what she does but being undefeated she probably is saleable for a while for the UFC as a star, but she hasn't been that impressive in the UFC so far and shes no spring chicken.

She probably would make more money by pushing Ronda three rounds losing a close decision and setting up the blockbuster rematch than she would a comprehensive victory.

I have always had the feeling that if Rousey gets hit on the chin even halfway decent her lights will go out. Like a boxers glass jaw type.

That could be total delusion but I hope Holm can land something good and move before the clinch.

Because Struve is a giant monster and Rosholt is just a fat normal height guy.

    It's like UFC 1.

    I was there.

I was there at UFC one, when that guy kicked the tooth out of the other guy onthr ground in the first fight.

No one knew what to do.

    The fight continued.

    i was there....

You're making excuses. A 2:25pm Horse race on a Sunday in Oz should be an atmospheric messy affair. Ya fack-eeeng c-aant.

Dont think so think Joe is trying to blame the Aussies for what is the UFCs fault for having it daytime and trying to fill a stadium where people are seated the way they are.

Also you are not gonna sell 50 thousand tickets on a Sunday daytime without drawing in a certain demographic too.

And this isnt a horse race, so your point is pretty irrelevant

    2.30 right now.
But that's normal UFC time down under. Ithe crowd not much different from previous aussie events, but the size of the venue makes it sound very hollow.

I expect the roof to be rattle a bit more for Hunt

And it's a terrible card. Doesn't look like a great venue, stands are sooo far away from the cage.

    Big Show, split decision.

    edit:

Thought one judge would give it to Struve because they fell asleep and just made a guess or something.

"The Big Show"? Has he always been called that? Could see Vince McMahon getting his lawyers on that.

What's next, will some UFC fighter start calling himself the Undertaker?

Struggling to remember a worse fight than that one in recent memory. Before someone says it, none of Pendred's have been that bad.

I think the Etihad is used for cricket and AFL and an AFL pitch is
typically between 135–185 metres long goal-to-goal and 110–155 metres wide wing-to-wing.

    compare that to GAA
length: 130m (metres) to 145m and width: 80m to 90m.

    and rugby
shall not “exceed 100 metres in length and 70 metres in width.

that's why I think if McGregor does get a stadium show in Ireland it should be in the Aviva. Croker is just so big! I remember going to watch some of the Ireland rugby games when they in Croker and I actually got bored cos I couldn't see what was going on as it was so far away.
