Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some very weak passing so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Whelan's passing has been poor thus far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Lucky enough he didn't get a yellow for that

I dint see how people think Ireland not getting an away goal is a good result. Even a 0 - 0 is a bad result imo. An away goal for Bosnia in Dublin could be very bad so we need one out there.

McCarthy doing his level best to miss the second leg. Surely you don't go in that reckless if you're on a yellow.

Can't decide if their manager looks like Ian Rush or Robert De Niro

    John Caulfield more like

    Any Bosnians on a yellow?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭TheStook

Mccarthy will 100% get booked tonight

  • Registered Users Posts: 677 ✭✭✭vidor

Standard from both sides is dreadful so far.

Yeah, Ireland seriously have to watch the physical away tactics they've employed in this campaign. The team could be looking like Swiss cheese after tonight if not.

    *Sees Whelan as Irish captain.*

*Takes whiskey & gin out of the cabinet.*

It's gonna be a long, dark night.

    5 I think, but I can't name them.

Wes Hoolahan needs to not lose the ball so much and either dribble/pass to team-mates/score goal IMO.

    Any Bosnians on a yellow?

Dzeko & Pjanic (and a couple more), I think.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,498 ✭✭✭obezyana

    Bosnians are looking poor themselves.

    Glenn's a top bloke

Two defenders were on the ground for that free header

Brady with two awful crosses and then he's dispossessed within a minute.

    Diving fucker.

    Book him FFS!

Identical to the Poland game, two poor teams on show so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 704 ✭✭✭frisbeeface

    Terrible defending again.

    Pitch looks very slippery.

Brady has been very poor so far.

Brady and Whelan playing poorly. We look bereft of leadership. Worrying.

I aspect Pjanic to take control of this game soon. He reminds me a lot of Juninho in his style of play, probably were he learned to take such good free-kicks from

Another bunch of divers these guys, shameful.

    Both teams looking poor tonight.

Ye you don't have the morale high ground on diving and whining when Robbie Keane is in your squad.

Lack of ambition is unforgivable here for me. What's the point in playing for nil nil when an away goal is so important.

    Deliberate handball.

    Where's the yellow card?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

We're all over the shop for their corners.

He has as much vision on a football field as Helen Keller. Sideways or backwards are his strengths.... And of course yeah, he is good at 'breaking up play'.

Unfortunately our play more than theirs tonight.

    Any Bosnians on a yellow?

If they are anything like the Russians they are on yellows, blues, pinks, and maybe a few reds to take the edge off.

Its mad that every Stoke fan I see on reddit etc seems to highly rate him

**** sake we are being found out down our left wing. I was worried when I saw Ward's name on the team sheet. Brady not exactly doing much to help.

    Usually OUR play.

    Jayshush. Too close.

    Actually, not that close.

Ireland do need to get the finger out here, because Bosnia will surely score at this rate.

It's not an automatic yellow card.

The pitch seems to be very slippy.
Hoolihan not getting on the ball at all.
