So i am hoping to do ty next year I was wondering this.

What type of people do they look for like I'm a very positive student and rarely get in trouble or bad notes . I have won student of the month twice and an award at Christmas for school spirt . But I'm not that great in exams like I'm at ol at three subjects and fail hl exams sometimes.

Also what type of question do the ask you in your interview.

Sounds like you'd be ideal in TY. Each school has different requirements.

You can use it as a chance to up your performance in some subjects. You are enthusiastic which is good. Hopefully your school runs a good programme - the best ones are student driven. It can be for many people a great maturing exercise and studies show those who do TY do better in exams - it's possible because they're a year older, but TY won't hurt. I hope you get in.

I got to agree, you sound ideal for a programme like this. The fact that you must of got involved in a lot of school activities will speak volumes to those choosing. Look up your own school ty programme spec and word answers towards it. Even better, ask a year head, just looking interested will appeal to teachers that you should be on the course
