I wouldn't be a fan of buying a chair from Argos either regardless of what the "original" price was.

This is the best selling chair on amazon at the mo:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brand-Designed-Racing-Swivel-Office/dp/B00KY055GU/ref=lp_200970031_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1448313068&sr=1-1

    41bY3XscpgL.jpg

I'm not too keen on the red colour in it, but if its comfortable I'd buy it, the price is great.

I'm also looking at this more expensive one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Swivel-executive-ergonomic-Computer-adjustable-armchair/dp/B00ENZ1T4Y/ref=lp_200970031_1_6?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1448313068&sr=1-6

    61w3SCul4PL._SL1500_.jpg

Reminds me of batman's abs. Haha.

Its a pain trying to find a good chair on amazon, theres always going to be negative 1-2 star reviews on every product, and since you cant physically touch it, you don't know what it will truly feel like to sit on.

Theres quite a few people saying it's wobbly and noisey. Do you find that with yours at all?

Theres 4 DX Racer chairs tomorrow evening in the Amazon.de lightning deals.

These appear to be exclusive to the German market in a partnership with "Robas Lund".

The first one will show up under lightning deals on this page, and if you hit the right arrow you'll see the other 3:

    http://www.amazon.de/gp/angebote/ref=br_imp?pf_rd_m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&pf_rd_s=desktop-0&pf_rd_r=01PK5995K0TF34TF4CGX&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=767861967&pf_rd_i=desktop&gb_hero_f_101=p:30,c:3167641,s:available

Chair 1 and 4 dont ship to Ireland, but you can use parcel motel or parcel wizard, shipping is 20 euro.

The other 2 do ship to Ireland.

The only thing there is it's hard to know which of chair you're getting. Probably the D series, according to dxracer I'd need an R series.

Vertagear sl4000 seems a decent option too.

I was thinking of getting myself one of the DXracer chairs for Xmas. These seem to be an older model. Keen to seen how much they'll cost. Not sure which model I would need, doesn't seem to be the most straight forward. Thanks for the heads up.

Which did you go for? :)

Delivery to the UK was only 20 i think if you had a parcel wizard account. Apparently theyre not charging for over sized parcels yet with the first 3 free deliveries.

I ordered this cheapo yesterday from the cheaper seller for £82 including shipping to parcel wizard:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KY055GU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If the dxracer came down a lot i was going to cancel the order as they wont have stock til the 10th.

It won't be in stock for me til the 10th so I've really just pre-ordered it.

I'm using Parcel Wizard to get it shipped from Northern Ireland to my house.

The first 3 dliveries are free when you sign up, and apparently they're not charging for oversized items during the first 3 deliveries.

Heres the Parcel Wizard thread with more info:

So this arrived today via Parcel Wizard today and I'm sitting in it right now.

Its a huge improvement over the Viking Berlin I had, excellent lower back support and I find I'm not leaning forward as much as with the old chair.

Its really comfortable, and the PU leather is firm also, so shouldnt lose its softness as fast as the Berlin did.

Its has a much higher back rest than the Berlin had also, comes half way up my head and I'm 5"11:

    hx4s7S1.jpg

The arm rests are at the perfect height for typing also, and have really thick padding:

    B4AFUFi.jpg

The only con is that the wheels are Black and White, if they were Black and Red to match the rest of the chair it would be sweet, but thats only nitpicking really.

    Excellent chair for €100 + P&P.

    Looks good :)

How study does it feel and what kind of adjustments (if any) can be made to the back angle etc

Very sturdy, i tightened the bolts all the way, and it doesn't rock to the side one bit.

It can tilt back a nice bit more than the Berlin chair and there's a tension control underneath to control how far back it can go.

    She's built to last!

Very tempted to pick that up myself. My chair is pretty crap.

I was checking that too. Will you be able to give your review of it. Its very cheap but is it at least half decent?

Sure, not due to arrive for another 5-10 days, but will post my finding afterwards

My pc chair is a big leather lazy boy with massage functions, auto foot rest, surround speakers and a built in fridge. :D

Its not a pc chair...its a sitting room one but I said to myself Feck it. If I'm going to be sitting in this thing for at least 3-4 hours a day, why not get something super comfy. So I bought it. :p

Be interested in thoughts on that as I'm also in the market for a new chair, even though I'm a console gamer I've always played at a desk could never go back to the couch to do it after gaming at a desk for so long.

yeah I've started to use my PS4 on my gaming monitor as well, much handier for me

okay, I actually went in to new Shop that opened up in Limerick to check Chairs.

Went in to check and came back with this back home. :pac:
    DSC_1246_zpsykkccq2l.jpg

Chair alone is 150eu, table itself 140eu, buy them together and its 225eu. I was thinking of changing my table, but my biggest issue looked like my chair. I tried chair and table in the shop and realised that my my table is crap too.

I just finished putting all togehter. Really loving it and really could not go wrong with 225eu for all thing.

They had very very similar chair like the one on amazon. Was 120eu. I tried it and it was dreadful. Looks cool, but really uncomfortable. I am weirdo and I dont think I could buy such thing like chair online without sitting on it.

Monitor is my next upgrade. I had always 2 or 3 monitor setup. I downed to two and sold on one dell 2312hm.
Then my 680 died and upgraded asap to 1060. Problem is that my old monitor has only vga. No vga or old dvi on 1060. The damn adapter from vga to display port 40 quid in Harveys. **** that. :pac:

Thats how my old setup looked with old table and all 3 monitors in old house.
