    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good driving instructor based in the city? I am living beside St Patrick's Cathedral and looking for someone to book 5 or 6 lessons with. Mid 20's but never really drove before and just after getting learner permit sorted. Someone decently priced and good would be appreciated.

    Cheers

I've had a look round myself and I'd say €300 for the 12 EDT lessons is about the cheapest you'd get, finding it hard to convince myself to blow 300 wing wangs on driving lessons when I have zero need to own a car.

If you only just got your first learner permit, you need to do 12 EDT lessons before you can sit your test. Five or six lessons won't be enough.

Btw, there is a Learning To Drive sub forum over in the Motoring forum. You may get more responses, if you PM a mod and ask them to move your thread over there.

I live just up on Donore Ave and used this chap Brian http://www.adischoolofmotoring.com/

Had two previous instructors to him and he was the best by a country mile!
