Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    As in yous???

There's a thread in Food & Drink called "Aldi - what do you recommend?" But the OP originally said "What do yous recommend?" and it took AGES for a mod to finally fix it. I swear to God my blood pressure rose by a few degrees every time I saw it until it was fixed.

    Mopping floors.

I have a steam mop and yes it's great 'cos it doesn't soak the floors and dries quickly but how do you manoeuvre yourself around the place without walking on the freshly mopped floors?

I mopped the hall and kitchen and I had to walk over it to get back to the kitchen and I left footprints.

I mopped back over it and then had to wait in the living room til it was dry and then I walked into the hall and saw bits of grey fluff accumulating in the corner which is baffling as I thoroughly hoovered the whole house before mopping.

That's the worst thing about wooden floors; grey lumps of fluff that appear out of nowhere.

Anyway the floors are mopped but the kitchen floor is still wet so my longing for a cuppa will have to wait cos I'm not going back in there leaving more footprints!

Put on a clean pair of socks before you start. Works a treat.

My TA is the bloody MASSIVE adds on the Newstalk website wanting me to take a survey. It's so obtrusive. And now they have adds playing before the podcasts too. Cheeky feckers.

My TA is the word "fap" - I hate it.
    I think it sounds awful.
    Even w**k is slightly better.
Surely there are better words can describe it all?

We used to call it a selfie. Until the word selfie got hijacked by the narcissists!

Now that's a MUCH better word for it. However, using it in the modern sense might raise a few eyebrows..

"I had to do about 20 selfies on the bus on the way into work until i got it right. People kept getting in the way..."

I went off my healthy eating wagon last night and had curry chips AND onion rings after a feed of pints.

It was all very much spur of the moment..something we never do as we're saving, so money for these things is scarce.
I was glad we went out but now I'm hanging and I've raging heartburn.
Forgot how nice curry chips were though *licks lips*.

"He pushed me to the bed, spread my beef curtains and entered his spunk blunderbuss inside my gusset which was wetter than an otters pocket.

As he gyrated on top of me, I introduced a finger into his balloon knot, this drove him over the edge as he withdrew his 'kojak in a polo neck' and held it just above my funbags, I gasped in ecstasy as his magnificent veiny member shot his filthy yoghurt all over my bangers......"

I really have missed my calling :P

Me too. Especially when I say "I'm tired/bored/fed up" and the response is "go have a fap".

Where did it even come from?! Ugh. Hate it.
