    Still going strong Dec 1 163km and 29 runs. Tough going this afternoon in the storm. Only ran 6.5km but was shattered afterwards. Running into that wind is hard going

    and i'm out. three days short which is sickening. but for the last 10 days i've been trying to kick a flu and failed miserably, while continuing to run through it. finally what i knew last week finally hit home, need to give the body a chance to recover. should have done it a week ago and i'd probably be back proper training by now,but hindsight is 20/20 as always.

    Annnnnnnnnd it's done. Thank feck for that. So looking forward to a few rest days.
    The majority of my runs were completed out bush in WA. Lowest temp was 27c and highest 36 at the time of running.

    That was fun, glad I did it.

    Was carrying a niggle for the last couple of days that I would have rested if I hadn't been at the end of this, hopefully I haven't done any harm. Other than that I feel much fresher in my running than I did at the start of the month.
    Lots of shorter runs feels easier on the body than a few longer ones but it is very hard for me to fit swimming and cycling into this schedule.

    Thats me done too, its been a pleasure. To follow on from Slideways point, I think the least amount of water I ran in was 27 inches and the most was 36 (and still rising). How fitting that I finish today in absolutely pelting rain and hailstones. Few days off now and start training for Dungarvan 10.

    done and dusted, well done to everyone who gave it a go, and to those who finished I am sure you have found it harder than you thought it would be. I for one thought 30mins a day would be easy, the reason being most of us train most days of the week so how hard could 30mins a day be?? well it was hard and I am happy to have completed the challenge, I kept my HR in low Z2 for every run and I have improved significantly during the month, the mileage wasn't big but that wasn't my goal, I am looking forward now to getting stuck in to some marathon training with JB, happy new year and I hope you all hit your goals for 2016.

    ...annnnnnd done :D This was definitely more enjoyable than gruelling, and I managed to pick up a couple of PBs in some races this month too :) Happy to get through it unscathed, it's definitely challenging and rewarding to squeeze runs in here and there.     Just to update the table and say thanks for starting this thread this year. I got a lot out of it. First time I have ever done a streak like this. Most memorable runs were a few at 6am in lashing rain. Latest run was a 10pm start running around a shopping centre car park after a day trip to Lapland (I believe:D:D). Had my first run of 2016 today but have kept the training streak going by getting on the turbo for 30 mins on the past two days - that is big deal for me - haven't been on the bike since last July - not really a dedicated person who does triathlons but going to make more of an effort in 2016 and this streak has been a great start. God knows what the weight would be like without the past month.

    A lot of people seem to be doing 30 day fitness streak rather than run streak to help with injuries and include those already injured. I'm going to give it a whirl.

    That's a great idea, 30mins of stretching and/or foam rolling every day would be a great benefit to me - I'm in :)
