I saw that there are some stock of the previous generation Yamaha RX-A3040 showing on the UK website. Are any of those available for shipping to Ireland?

If so, what's the condition, warranty and best price with shipping to Dublin?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the 3050 would be twice the price (vs the cheapest price I can see currently for an ex demo, £999).

Just to be clear, these were the ones I was looking at on your UK site:

    Halenger,

The 'last few to clear' on the UK site generally means that they are ex-display units or retuned units and as per the website they may be missing original packaging / accessories and may have superficial damage, hence we don't transfer 'last few to clear' stock between stores - do feel free to contact any of the UK stores directly but generally they wont ship 'last few to clear' units as they prefer Customers to check / inspect and be happy with the general condition of the units prior to sale.

We cleared our own demo RXA3040 some time at the clearance price .. apologies for that!

If you were interested in a deal we do have the new RXA3050 which I would happily do you a Boardie price on - alternatively if you are looking for something bonkers I have some brand new Denon AVR4520's ( Black) that I would happily give you a bonkers clearance price on?
    http://www.denon.co.uk/uk/product/HomeTheater/AVReceivers/AVR4520CI

Finally we also have the beautiful new Onkyo TXZR800 https://www.richersounds.ie/p-201594-txzr800-blk.aspx?swapstore=1 and I'd do you a Boardie price on that if you wanted a look!

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    Hey John,

Thanks for that. And no problem on the RXA3040. I was in touch recently as I went through some speaker options and got a price for the RXA3050 at the time as part of a MA Silver speaker package at the time.

I've just been convinced since to look at used or previous gen stuff, after picking up a pair of MA GS20s. I had Atmos support in mind but I'll take a price on the Denon AVR4520 and give it good consideration. I know the Onkyo has Atmos but I'll pass on that one, thanks.

I'll be in-touch again for some speaker quotes, most likely some MA Silver FX and possibly an MA Silver Centre (depending on how the hunt for a matching GSLCR goes).

    You had me at "bonkers".

Heading to the US in the morning but this caught my eye. I don't need a new AVR, but when did need ever have anything to do with it?

    So, define "bonkers"......:)

On another note, I sent someone to you last week from the regular Bargain Alerts Thread...any joy?

hI Halenger, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The Denon AVR4520 we have a couple of these left, we can do at £799 / €1149, which is a huge saving on the standard price of £1199.

if you have any other queries, please let me know

    Cheers
