    As I told you earlier take it to court and let us know how you got on.
    I personally think the Judge might listen to you if you were only 10 metres from the turn off when you pulled into the bus lane.
    Slagging off another profession for doing their job won't win you many friends and you are letting yourself down by doing it.

    I didn't witness your incident and as a teacher of history, one would never be happy to merely accept a one sided and possibly biased account of an event.
    What I do know from your posts is that you are not a shrinking violet, and I would like to hear the Garda's point of view on this incident before passing judgement.
    As to my earlier statement, am I not correct in stating that you can't reveal your workplace as you would be easily identifiable as the former shop steward that left the ASTI.

    . I have not stated in any of my posts that you should reveal your name, but rather why it is you wouldn't want to reveal your place of work as this would make it relatively easy to identify you.

    Turns out it was more like 250m from the entrance and he was pi$$ed off queuing like ordinary plebs, I would be too. Still harsh though - must have been fairly shifting in the bus lane to attract the attention of the boys in blue.

    Not any that I know. I enjoy my work, maybe you should consider something else. Plenty of motivated teachers waiting in the wings.

    As little as that has to do with your current predicament, go to the Garda ombudsman, a different garda station, etc.
