Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Worst Watford performance of the season so far. Haven't got going. Don't think the referee is being too helpful either though!

Deeney was a lucky boy there

Bastian is lucky he has built up a rep. If he was a nobody playing the way he is he would be called out for it. Basically playing left back or centre half seems to have stepped up a bit now their is more behind him. Looks amazing playing a 30 yard cross field ball which is all well and good but general play he let's United down. Schneiderlin looks the much better player.

    Jessie has been very quiet.

Its one of those that depends on the ref, could have been a yellow or a red, not that i thought it was red anyways but its a reckless challenge and should be at least a yellow

  • Did he just call him Captain Morgan lol

How do you figure that? You watch are watching this game and think he is doing well? His job is to look defense and attack and most of the time he is standing out of the way.

Pitch looks awful at the corner there..

  • Happy to see Depay score
Herrera loss is clearly evident IMO
Anyone see that sneaky elbow at the very end there on Blind?

Decent performance that depay looks lively but mata looks so slow on the ball.

Happy enough with that half considering the absences

I don't judge players on 45 minutes when they were in Paris last week. He's given it away a few times but so has everyone. Plenty of interceptions to make up for it. He's been way better than Schneiderlin this season.

    Mata has been poor today.

Oh so you agree with what I am saying. I'm not saying he hasn't had good games (haven't seen all United games in all honesty) but in the 7 or so I've seen I just think he can do a lot more and is a much better player than he has shown be it age or van gaals tactics. At least he is moving central now after spending most of this game playing left full or centre half. It's poor when smalling was looking for a pass out into midfield but Bastian who should have been there was in between the 2 centre half's further back than them for no reason at all.

  • Lovely play from depay

Memphis is causing all sorts of problems for Watford today, which is nice to see. Him and Lingard are adding some good pace we've needed for a while.

Memphis looks like he prefers playing from inside out rather than just as an orthodox winger.

United starting the 2nd half well.

Watford starting to come in a bit now, time to catch them committing men forward! Need another goal here

Hoping for the counter attack now

Watford having a decent spell here. We are back to giving it away to easily. Looks to be Lingard up front on his own and it's coming back all too quickly.

One of the CB needs to push up when there is so much space in the middle ffs

Watford pressing really well high up the pitch it has to be said, suffocating us a bit right now.
